  1. well said id als o add if fuel consumption is considered way too pricey to mod the banshee ,then just wait till you start making that 200$ a month payment on a new 450 that requires serviceing after 12 hours of use ,yo uknwo how to fix a dual overhead 5 valve high compression four stroke motor ? your gonna need to eventually doesnt matter wha tit is its gonna need repairs and maintenance ,only reliablity difference between 4 strokes and 2 strokes is a 4 poke will run like shit longer before it can be torn down than a 2 stroe k can , but cost 4 times the rebuild price too!
  2. so you have a bigbore and a 4mm stroker and you still lack bottom end ? i would think you would have all kinds of torque from idle to midrange with that setup , unless its very aggresive in the porting dept.

  4. 4-5 degress advancment for a mild to dune/recreational drag ported banshees and often guys will go up to a 7 +degree on more heavily modifed setups such as cheetah cubs and or bigbores ,strokers. the stock ignition timing is setup to spike at a lower rpm than what the motor is now capable of with higher port timing numbers and performance mods,so basicaly stock ignition timing is designed for a stock banshee with 25lb french horn pipes
  5. basicly its cut on a metal lathe and trued to its inner taper so it runs concentric on your machines crank. unless your a tool and die maker or atleast a machinist with a lathe at your disposle and the know how, it cant be done in a your garage with power or hand tools

  7. adding compression will yeild gains up high in rpm too.but very high comp numbers can actually hurt topend rpm though. cutting your head is really only noticable from idle to midrange . do it... its a great mod for cheap id go .035 if it was me however
  8. right from the horses mouth sorry repterd owners, you purchased a big single cylinder slug sure theres builders who have some quick oneswith good dyno numbers, but how often do you normally see one very heavily modifed and beating out ported 350's?maybe if its on alky and has a zillion dollarsof mods in it . they can hardly hold themselves together in stock form, from what ive seen

  13. im sure eric gorr makes a mean woods port but theres plenty of safe 350 porting that would crush a woods ported set of clyinders . if you dont ride in the woods exclusively i wouldnt bother if it were me ,theres a reason people opt to get dune and drag ports over a mild woods port not knockin anybodys stuff just my .02

  19. pistons dont last forever,they are brittle and over time get tiny stress cracks and weak spots especially around the skirts and the intake window edges, they will eventually fail and cause unneeded $$$$$$ trouble down the road ,take the jugs to a reputable shop (good luck) and have them check them out and see if yo uneed ot go.060 over or can get away with honing ,price is usually 45$ a hole to bore oversizes and new wiseco piston kits that include everything and gaskets are like 150$,its cheapo insurance bro

  23. who the fuck would put a prized twin liquid cooled screamer 350 banshee motor in a shitty ill handling heavy pos warrior frame ???? it ca n and has bee ndone before for the record the warrior is like one of the all time slowest pos garbage in atv history. only thing worse than its 15 hp slow reving anmeic accelerating slug of a 120lb motor was its lawn mowerish handling and bad front end geometery ...oh did i mention its not as reliable as everybody thinks?
  24. yep 250r if yo u cant beat him em' with your new 4 poke technology just eliminate the competiton by removing them from sanctioned races altogether . R and the she are too clsoe, theyre both such awesome quads and the hop-up potential is so unreal on these bikes
