alot of theory isnt practical in application on 2 stroke engines , .if running reed spacers between the carb and the reeds actually did shit ,all the top builders/racers would be doing it already . and they dont ,yo u can ask that over at planet sand and theyll scoff at you ,cause they know what works and what doesnt

hahah it think its safe to say most of us are in agreement that trinity racing is not the best place to send a set of jugs out to ,and you dont need to send your entire engine either ,although it can aid the builder in degreeing it ,but accurate measurments can be made regardless. do a search on here cause theres some builders whos engines keep falling apart after their modified .

you can split it i n your basement or utility room or some shit i bet . gears are cheap ,hell the whole thing is pretty cheap really . if the crank and cases are good ,id look for a decent usuable set of jugs for 150$ clutch maybe 80$ gears and stuff maybe 100$ .then theyll be gaskets/seals and various oither shit ,but i bet it can be done for less than 500$. if cases and/or crank is toast ialso d start to look at another engine ,$600 for a running she motor is pretty cheap, id think $800 would be alot closer to reality .

i agree... 15 just seems to make 1st and second too tall for tight shit and winding/twisty trails .primary drive make good products IMO.

the 350 's and lil 4mills will be genrally be faster i n a short distance ,they dont overpower the track ,they just roll down it . smal l bores and short strokes seem to hold the records i n the upper 3 's .

i have used the vitos jet kit and i liked it i n the past , the needle is thinner and longer this is too richen your midrnage circuit ,it is useful on piped filtered and otherwise modifed machines. if your stock needle is too lean in the midrange and is out of adjustments ,yo u are surley missing out on power.

ive eperimneted with them in the past o n a few applications . 3/8 thick seems to offer a noticable kick in the midrange on ported engines,dont expect big powergains however .i see no point in putting them between carbs and reeds

just your jugs will be required for the shop ,but youl l probably wanna add some compression on your head also . this topic always starts a war on whos best ,especially lately id suggest to try a search o n here on engine porting and reputable builders

i dont and havent ran a fuel filter , i have see n evidence of them collecting premix oil and they sligtly impede flow IMO .the petcock has its own filter and always be sure your gas can has a filter o nthe spout and youll be just fine without one.

i oval bored stock carbs and i have tried the 30mm okos too and the okos have better response and snap IMO over stockers .roundslides are old school .dont be afraid of those knockoffs theyre as good as keihins and 100$ cheaper
