  2. it depends do you have pipes on it. is the air box lid removed? if its just the k&n try going about 4 sizes larger on the main it should get you in the right ball park
  3. yea it could be the stator heating up then crapping out

  5. i have only ridden it 2 times since it was built both times it was no more than 15 min but i will heck the compression and then rejet it most definetly. stupid question what do you think the compression should be around?

  7. see i dont understand because people keep telling me oh just jet like it was just the pipes on there then other people tell me to go bigger on the jets so i think i just might go bigger on the jets. what about the stator assemble because when it stops running on one side or the other it seems like it isint getting spark but it does. but them the engine builder said it could get hot then stop working so im just a tad bit stumped
  8. heres what i have 400 stroker ported & polished cool head w/22cc domes 3/8 reed spacer v force reeds k&n pods adjustable timing plate advanced 3deg fmf fatty's hinson clutch basket dirt digger clutch toomey throttle cables thats all for right now i need to also get a suspension and probably carbs to big time.
  9. yea mine has crome pipes bumper aluminum rims and a cool head with the black plastis and i think it looks pretty dam good
  10. i have a dirt digger clutch and a hinson billilt clutch basket the springs are put in so they alternate between stiff and soft witch seems to work out pretty good the lever is not as stiff
  11. i have 260 mains in it right now i think it get enough fuel because when it does run it hauls ass. the guy i had build it says it might be the stator. he thinks when it gets hot it stops working right. he is checking my electrical system right now. when i figure it out i will let you guys know but if you have any other suggestions please let me know. what do you think about 34mm pj's
  12. i dont think there is really a differance between the 2 or the 3 except being able to adjust the petals

  15. i just put a stroker in and i was wondering whats a good starting point for the jetting it has stock carbs with toomey throttle cabbles and k&n pods tep is around 50 deg down here
  16. heres the problem i just put a 400 stroker in my shee with cool head 22cc domes ajustable timeing plate advanced 3 degs vforce 2 reeds spacer plate tommoey trottle cable and dual k&n pods. ok ready when i toook it out to ride for the first time it was running fine i rode for like 15 min then let it cool off when i went to go again the right side wasnt running it would just sputter a little bit so i changed the plugs then the right side ran fine then the left side acted up the left side dosent idle right but when you get on it it will go for the most part. the temp did drop about 10 deg so maybe it could be the jetting?
