  3. Word. I think that if you ride alot your thumb gets really "buff" and you dont even notice it
  4. I second that! Use and impact wrentch, and after its tight, use the gun in bursts. It will tighten up alot better. BTW, i had my flywheel come off while riding in a sand quarry. I was at the bottom of a huge arse sand pit and had to get towed out. Not fun...
  5. IT IS NOT A TORS PROBLEM!!!! I have the carb sticking problem too. It usually happens when its cold or you hit water. Cleant he carbs alot or get new ones. I didnt have the high idol problem, that may be tors, but the throttle sticking isnt. Peace out!
  6. Word!
  7. Try cleaning your carbs and check your jetting. A properly maintained and set up shee should be a breeze to start. Not to start anything... but ive never had to kick more than 3 times even when its below freezing. TAke your carbs apart, and be sure to clean EverYTHING! Hopefully it will start easier. I would like to see 250r geometry and long travel suspension come stardard on the shee. Wouldnt complain if it had some powervalves either
  8. Theres another race december 4th? Details please I was at rausch the saturday before the race and just got burnt out... Most fun ive ever had on my quad tho
  9. Thanks talon, it actually doesnt look bad at all, i just wanted it to get an idea of what it would look like. I actually think black wheels on my shee would look like shit! How about yall?
  10. Hey guys, im going back to stock rear rims for the shee, and the rear stockers i have are painted a gross yellow. Can anyone photoshop the front and rear rim i have on the shee now FLAT BLACK? It would be greatly appreciated I can get a picture viewing the side straight on if needed, but that would have to wait till tomorrow. Just show me what you guys can do with the pic i posted Thanks, Brian
  11. I personally have done about 5 SETS of 4 tires. The stock tires are the hardest to break the bead off the rim. I suggest buying a set of motorcycle (dirtbike) tire irons for 10 bucks MAX. Get the tire halfway on the rim, then apply some sort of dish soap of slipperly liquid. Pry Away, if your using 2 or more tire irons it is a snap. The tire irons and soap are KEY. I tried it with screwdrivers once, and it took 3 hours for 1 tire, no joke. Now it takes 3 minutes for only 1 tire. If you do have to pop a stock tire off the bread, i honestly dont know what to tell you. I used an arbor press and it was still very difficult Good luck
  12. Im gonna be done rebuildin in about 1 week. The shee is gonna get 2 tanks, fresh oil, new spark plugs, and then shes gonna get beat to shit! Im gonna go real easy first tank, then work my way up on the second tank. Probably gonna let her idle for the first 5-10 min, then cool, the put put around for 10, then cool... repeat. 20 hours is rediculas CLEAN THE AIRFILTER AND CHANGE THE OIL FREQUENTLY during breakin. There is gonna be some metal crap in the crank case from the motor being built. All that must be cleaned out. Good luck
  13. Riding in ny sucks ass. If your going in the winter time, lots of lakes have atv ice racing. Im gonna be hittin up lake georges winter carnival this year. Ice drags, night rides, ice cross... Its gonna be a blast. Modded Banshees w/ studded tires own all in ice racing

  16. Thanks alot tim, im gonna buy some 280's and work from there
  17. Guys, im gonna be running pro design w/ uni filter, no air box lid. Stock reed cages with boyseen reeds, ADVANCED TIMING 4 degrees, and fattys with powercore II's. I need to know what mains to buy and what pilot jets to buy. Thanks again, Brian

  20. Anyone with a foam filter and stock reed cages have any advice?
  21. Thanks alot, anyone else? Hilarious, are you using the airbox lid?
  22. im gettin a set of fattys for free and need to know where i should start my jetting. Im going to put the pipes on while im doing the top end so jetting is probably crucial because of break in. Im running a Pro Design foam filter/ adapter plate. Stock reed's and reed cages, and no lid. What should I start the jetting at? Im also going from a stock bore to 20 over, will that affect jetting at all? Thanks everyone, -Brian P.S. Does anyone know of a better place to buy weisco top ends than magic racing?
