I would recomend contacting BOTH Banks &r Bully Dog and see what their strategy is for an application like yours along with your goals in the way of performance. They can manipulate Fuel delivery "This is a biggy with Deisels" and other performance enhancments to compliment your stock setup...You may wanna ask about a boost controler as well, and what kind of posatives boost increase would make...That combined with more fuel is gonna be neck jerking power increases IMO...The Propane injection is kickass and perfect for a deisel...They are so high compression, the Propane is as volatile and performance enhancing as Nitrous is for a Gas Engine "Cooling your air intake temperatures"...All posatives with the Propane, and harmless as well...DO IT!!!!!....hahaha Good luck... GO to the post office and file a complaint. It is Mail Fraud, and taken pretty serious by their enforcment...Pretty simple process too... Brad

I am not a Small engine buff or anything...But why would it be so unbelievable that a 1K twin would make 210 crank HP??? I just don't see it as inconcievable for that kind/size displacment... Brad

I have to admit...I am licking my chops now...hahaha Bill...No worries...The rip of gravel road is dead strait really wide and pretty much hard packed Dirt...Also I never ride without a Helmet on any of my bikes street/dirt or whatever...Got all the gear and my bacons have been saved time and time again. Appreciate the concern. Thanks for all the replies...I will report back. Brad

Well...Thanks for all the replies...The guys I ride with all ride BIGASS 4X4 quads with liftkits and shit...So I don't get to run with anything similar to what I have.. It will prolly take place on a Gravel road..."I live in Cowshit County"....There are alot of Gravel roads...haha...I can ride, so I think this is gonna be kinda fun to stuff in his face since he is the one talking all the shit...haha Thanks again... Brad PS....The EURO running to the bike thing is killing me...

So....I have a few college Students that live across the way...One of them has a 450R and wonders over to my garage and starts asking me about my Banshee..."What I have done to it etc..." Anyway he ends up telling me that he has no problem walking a Banshee with setups similar to my own..."FMF Pipe set, K&N, V-Force Reeds, 15-41 Sprokets & proper Jetting..." My Banshee is running great...Could not be happier with the results of my few mods. Anyways, I never argued or challenged the kid...BUT I have a hard time believing him walking me...Keeping up maybe...Walking??? BTW...His 450R is bone stock... Brad

Don't for a minute assume you know my story...Please lose the sarcasm in comparing myself and other X-Patriots to ex-cons and HS Dropouts...I doubt they had a Top Secret Clearance, and Civilian Lt. Colonel Ranking during their stay of contract. I doubt that they went through all the background investigations we went through...AS IF... ...You are speaking strongly on a topic which you have not even experienced, and somehow think you can lessen it.... I doubt there are any Ex-Cons and Dropouts making that kind of coin...Most contractors are responsiible for their workers, and if they want to keep the contract they have to take many things into consideration during the hiring process...You are just talking sensless shit... I for one am done littering this guys thread with this bullshit...And appologize to him for what his thread has become. Brad

I for one had a 128GT score on my ASVAB...The way I understood it I could have chosen pretty much any branch or MOS...Whatever...I went in open contract and chose my MOS by finishing in the top 10% in my platoon... Far as the AF being superior, that is a laugh...The Marine Corps is a VERY small Military entity of the Armed Forces....We often use other branch resources since our resources are limited to our smaller force, and dwindled funding...I don't think many quite understand that the Marine Corps is not just a bunch of guys with Guns, missle launchers & Tanks...We have our fair share of technical billets, and we get done in hours to what takes an Airforce Crew days...Not because we are that much better, but because our standars allow it, and we pull it off without incodent. I would add that there are Avionics/Electric A schools at NAS Milliington as well... BTW...What I learned and experienced landed me a Aviation position overseas making 100+K per contract + bennies & bonuses...So I hope ya like apples baby....Not bad for a dumb Marine I guess... Brad

Nothing against the TRON guys..."AE's, Tweets, whatever"...In the Marines they get stuck at Lance Cooly or Corpral ALOT...So if you don't mind having a short career it is a great way to go...The thing is that the MOS is very full and also competitive with not much turnover...I knew several guys that did 6 year contracts and got out as Lcpl. and Cpl...That boys is BS...It may have changed in the last 15 years, but these things tend not to fix themselves. Myself...I made Sgt. in 3years...In the Marines that is pretty quick...I could have picked up staff in 5 with the right billets and schools...But never had any intentions of a career after the first few years in I decided to take on other challenges. Good Liuck with whatever you choose to do...And to all the other cats in right now...Be Safe & Thanks... Brad

I am pretty sure he is referring to all the other branches handing out HUGE summs of money in the form of a signing bonus...Or at least thats how I percieved it... BTW...There is always someone that can whoop someones elses ass. Marines "This meaning EVERY SINGLE MARINE" gets more specific combat training than any other branch hands down...That goes for Clerks, Band Members, basket weavers and what have you...Hence the many weeks of training required. As an Aircraft Mechanic I recall all the AirForce cats that were at the Kuwait Base "I was working the contract at" being totally miffed that myself and another guy were able to take a Jet out and Repair & Test the aircraft with both engines operating at normal conditions from start to finish, just the two of us...Where the Air Force is more micro managed in that they have several differant crews for differant tasks as appossed to differant systems...It was kinda wierd when they were explaining it to me...You are gonna be getting some excellent Aviation exp. in the Marines...The Navy has a great program as well...They are basically one in the same when it comes to aviation by way of basic policy. Brad

I have ALOT of respect for ANYONE that wants to enter the Armed Forces during a time of obviously dangerous duty possabilities. Anyways...I am a Marine - from 89-94...MOS was 6057/6097 Aviation Elec. Hydraulics & Aviation Metalsmith/Composite Repair/Fabrication. My assigned Aircraft was the F-18 Hornet...It was a kickass tour and experiance..One that I would trade for nothing. After my tour in the Marines I bounced from Contract to Contract in the States working on many differant MilitaryAircraft/Contracts. Then in 96' I picked up a contract working in Kuwait for the US Navy/Contractor helping the Kuwait AirForce bring their troups up to speed with the F-18 Aircraft Maintnance and inspections/Saftey etc and such...It was suppose to only last for 2 years maximum...Well guess what...I left in 2000 and I have several close friends that are still there doing the same thing...Basically the Kuwaities would rather have Americans run the show...hahaha...It was a great exp...I left Aviation and got into Information Tech. so I could get good steady work close HOME and start my family... So...The Marines can set your life up to be pretty interesting if you so choose. Much luck to you in Boot and all that...If you go to MCRD SanDiego and run into SSgt. Hogie tell him HELLO from Brad...haha...He is up for Gunney, and has been doing Drill Instructor duty for several years now...I guess he can't seem to get enough. He comes from the Aviation Community "F-18 PowerPlants/Engines" as well...If you end up having to stay on base or you have free time on base you may want to look him up. His name is SSgt. Keith Hogie.... Cheers Brad

All the Wouldoh, shoulda, coulda fags...Just take the loss and STFU... All the bullshit smack about the Pac10...Quit acting like a bunch of sack shaving babies and come up with some real observations. Brad

OK..Did some mods... Pipe set "FMF" Open air box Used the 290's for mains and left the stock Pilot. Moved the clip to the 4th position. "DOWN" It does not wanna cold start at all...Once it is warm then no -prob. The air screws are as they were. I never messed with them. FMF recomends a #30 Pilot???? I have read on here not to...?? TIA.. Brad

So I did a search and found Oscars number at WORKS to get the information I need to rebuild my Shox. Is this something I should do myself or should I bite the bulliet and send them to WORKS and have them do it? Anyone got some tips on the DIY option??? I have never broken these down before. So any information would be helpfull... Brad

Came across this place and wanted to see if anyone had ever used them... TIRES Brad

In regards to a BAD SELLER list...I have seen where the Moderators of the forum look at the said bad seller post then put it in its appropriate thread. That way you don't have several topics on the same shitbag. BRAD

Well I have been out of town for awhile and stubled across this... First of all I don't quite see where you get Hillbilly from...hahaha...You don't know me...I could make MANY comments in regards to where you come from as well...But whats the point??? Thats right..There isn't one...Grow up & Calm Down. Second...Who from the US would even consider buying Banshee parts from some cat in Italy or anywhere accross the atlantic??? Talk about riding the short bus... All you have to do is apply a search for Paypal problems...It does not take a genious from Italy to tell me where to spend my money...I have been burnt by a PayPal thief and have read COUNTLESS stories in regards to the same shit...SO...The facts are the facts, paypal does nothing to protect the BUYERS interest... So...Do your research and come up with some at least semi-inteligant answers...As apposed to name calling and such, and never making any REAL points... Cheers then, Brad
-
Uh...Yes it is...If some jackass says I HAVE to use paypal he is more times than not a THIEF...Besides, you NEVER know anyone and if they will or won't screw you out of some DOE RAE ME...People do stupid shit for a lil money, and some do that stupid shit for a living...Go ahead and keep yourself in the dark and see if I give a fuck. Its just a lil advice, so use it or don't...I could not care less. Brad
-
You're a Marine? What is your MOS??? Your avatar looks like a Aircraft Squadron affiliation. I was in from 89-95, MOS 6057, VFA-125 for the whole contract...Wrenched on F-18 Hornets and dug it and the Marine Corps... Anyways just a lil small talk...Work Hard Party Hard... Semper Fi Brotha.. Brad

Paypal is the perfect vehicle for a thief to drive when scamming on the net... NEVER use paypal if you can help it...AND if the seller INSISTS that you pay via paypal something is up...Drop the deal and look elsewhere. If a seller is against you using a Money Order then don't deal with them cuz they are dirty. A Money Order from the Post Office will protect you in situations like these which is exactly why they don't want to except them, in fear of Mail Fraud charges that will stick and be prosectuted at the full extent of the law. Brad

Dude, I have been divorced as well...Pretty simple...Get yourself the absolute best cut-throat attorney and fight until she can't afford to fight any longer...It seems expensive now but in the grand scheme of things it will pay for itself later. Nobody ever wins in a Divorce IMO, but why get fucked when you can do the fucking. If she becomes amicable and reasonable take advantage of that and kick her while she is down as well...The thing is that if she was nasty at any point and time you can't trust what she has planned. The SYSTEM is on her side, so you need to protect your own interests....Kids or no kids...THats just the way it is... Anyone who thinks I am an asshole for the said above...Guys don't exactly have an advantage in Family court, so you have to play HARDBALL...Women have everyone and everything on their fucken side...When I hear of a Man beating the odds in Famliy court it gives me WOOD...Its not that I hate women...I hate the system that enable women to ruin mens lives... GOOD LUCK... Brad

Need a good place to start w/jetting
cudaz101 replied to cudaz101's topic in Jetting & Exhaust Forum
Thanks ALOT man...I can tinker with confidence now...haha Yea...I was considering a K&N but was unsure of the efficiantcy of what I already have..."Foam Filter" Not sure if it is a stocker or not...Anyways I will prolly step up to a K&N regardless... BTW...I have yet to play in the sand...I would but there is no sand too close by so mostly ride in the mountains "Dirt/Mud/Snow... Thanks again. Brad -
I almost hate to ask since it seems so redondent...I have read the Jetting FAQ document and WOW what a nice piece to work with. Making my own manual with all the write ups... Anyways...All I want is a starting place for jetting...I think I can take it from there but a starting place would prolly save me a few hours...So here is the deal.. The bike as it is runs lean...I pull the choke outhalf or more in 3rd thru 6th wide open and the thing pulls like madd....Without using the choke it just makes more noise..Not much power on the top at all...The bike as it sits is stock with the exception of the airbox having a bigass hole in the back of it " 2" hole I would guess"...Far as I know this is all that has been changed. Now this is what I am doing to it this week in the way of parts. Pipes " FMF Gnarly" Boysen Rad Valve cage So with that said...Where should I start??? I know the standard 8 sizes bigger for pipes...But how many for the Lien state it is already in??? I was considering starting with 300's or 290's...Dunno about pilots or the needle though... TIA Brad

Thanks MAN...15/41 on the way.... Brad
