1220 bigbore twin Sled Eng. in a Banshee

OK....Fair enough...But it would be no less of a Banshee than any other total custom out there...Except the fact that it would still be a 2-Stroke which is one of the key elements that seperates the banshee from the other quads... Brad -

What lead you to be an asshole about it escapes me... I was SIMPLY asking if anyone had done it...OR if anyone had considered it... AND...The power they make with these engine platforms I linked is incredable... Fucken Narrow minded Nay Sayers... Brad -
No need for appologies man...Like I said I saw your piece and be it as it is...I am looking to do something a bit differant. Now...Far as the length/depth of the Trinity design I don't see how that would hinder performance since the temps don't really get very high in that area. I am under the impression that the shortest & Straitest path for this type of setup is benaficial as well, which may be why they made their piece the way they did...??? Not getting alot of hits on this...Seems to be somewhat of a dead subject that may have been beaten to death way before I came along...??? haha... I am possibly looking towards a Modified Snowmibile or Watercraft engine to find the power I want... Brad

Has anyone used a Big Power 2-stroke sled engine in a Banshee??? I see all the street bike engine applications, as well as others...But I have yet to see a BIG sled engine with that 2-Stroke power... As the title says...1220cc bigbore Twin sled eng...It is based on the 900cc Arctic Cat eng...The guys at CrazyMountainExtreme use this in one of their sleds. There are many other choices that would put you in the 200+ HP range as well... So who has done it..??? And if nobody...Why not?? Here is a link the the Engine I am refering to... CMX 1220 Union Bay Racing is another BIG player in BIG 2-Stroke Power... 300HP 2-Stroke Brad

Yea..I got spanked ONCE on ebay...PayPal was no help...Infact PayPal is an enabler, and ebay is as well to an extent. I for one will NOT do anything with a seller that will ONLY use paypal...To me that is a huge REDFLAG...That is their firewall IMO... Anyways yea...I would like to have a few tons of Fertilizer sent to his driveway, or put a free add in the local paper for anyone to feel free to dump anything in my driveway...Your junk is my treasure type shit...hahaha... Any other ideas??? Brad

OK....So there was OVER 1-MILLION views in that thread...And the replies are unreal as well...That has to be some kind of record... Did ANYONE look through EVERY single page??? hahaha...Thats what I thought... Brad -
DBLtapS....You would prolly be taken a bit more serious if you stuck to your own thread and minded your own business. Ya know you can make PM's and it would have saved you from looking like a JackAss hi-jacking someone elses forsale add...I could have PM'd you this exact message but why treat a jackass with any respect??? Cheers Brad

I saw your piece when you posted it...Same idea I suppose...I am not trying to re-invent the wheel or anything...I would be more inclined to go with a Billet piece that would emulate the Trinity piece...I am wanting some input on what might improve the current design that is available. Although I do see several of these pieces on Ebay right now and they seem to be going for a reasonable price used...I am not much of an ebayer myself though...Know too many that have been burnt by that place. Tough to trust anyone over there IMO... Brad

I am pretty new around here...Only had my Banshee for a few weeks... Anyways I have been shopping around for parts and it seems to me that some of these parts are way overpriced for what they are. I have done some sourcing for auto performance machined parts in the past and am tempted to do the same thing with some Banshee parts... To name one...The 2 into one Trinity piece...This thing seems to be way overpriced and at the same time looks pretty simple to emulate. Thoughts??? Ideas??? STFU??? hahaha Brad

RNBRAD... ...That is some work...If you did ALL of that engine bay wow...That is some intricut work to say the least...I have done quite a bit of polishing but mine was mostly larger auto parts. Anyways...Sredish...If you get it stripped down it should already be pretty smooth. Meaning you may not even have to sand the metal. And if you do use a 800grit and finish with a 12-1400 wetsand....This is gonna make the work gravy/easy... Also...Get you a bench polisher...I got one with two shafts...One wheel for prepping before I do the final luster polish on the second wheel...I have always gotten great results with even the nastyest of casts'...By the time you pay to have it done you can have your own gear to do it yourself with ease...Beware though...Once you do one piece and find out how simple it can be with the right tools it can be kinda adicting..hahaha I protect my polished aluminum with ZOOP Seal...The shit seems to hold up to heat and moisture pretty well on my cars...The Banshee parts would be the real test but it could not hurt, and would prolly save alot of up-keep later on. Brad

I sponsor myself...I give myself parts at cost since I am a Tucker Rocky Dealer.... Bwaaaaahahahaha.... Oh well...I guess if ya have pretty much nothing, ya hang on to what you do have. Prolly the kids first gig with any bennies...Small bennies at that...But hey...Ya gotta start somewhere, but STFU about it or stand by to take all the shit as per above...Its ultimatley up to you I guess...Take it or leave it. Brad

Yea...The springs were painted Gold....It seems as though they were White and Blue at one time..."Why they painted them Gold is beyond me"... The tires are Bi-Directional Maxxis tires...They are in the SNOW & Sand Direction, the other Direction is for Mud/Dirt...We happen to have snow so that is why they are in that direction...BTW...I sell tires...haha...But yea...I see dipshits with their Paddles on backwards all the time...I can't imagine how they come to the brilliant conclusion that they work best going the wrong direction... Thanks for all the help guys...I am pretty confident that I have works shox...I think they need rebuilt and I have the number to contact to get the kit sent...So cool beans and Kudos to all...Thanks again... Brad
-
OK..Cool...SO then none of the stock Banshee models had the Rezz cans on the shox...This is great news...Now...To ace the stupid Gold Paint... Brad
