can anyone give me the correct bolt pattern for a 87 banshee front and back. I got 4on156 front 4on115 rear does not sound right??

The hole should be visible when I did mine. (15-20 times tyring to jet it!) I had the same question and a buddy answered it for me.

your pilot has nothing to do but start it after that its all main if it starts your pilot is fine. with those pipes and mods you should be running at leats a 290

I don't know never did it but its supposed to be there I beleive it regulates the fuel flow for cold engine starting when you pull the choke out,lets gas to other carb.

You know i hear everyone talking about spending big $ on all this spectra,amsoil,klotz oils, racing gas and there the ones who have to have cylinders bored ,blowing rings and needing top end work I have been running pennzoil 2 cyl marine full syn I get it for 1.00 a quart.I do run yamalube in my cases though because I don't want to change that. Had the 87 banshee for 2 years now and not a problem I mix 8oz for 5gal reg 87 octane pump gas and it runs perfect all the time.I wind it out alot more than most people too I don't like to shift till I have to, Yes I have mods too. pipes, boost,jetted,after market open air,I beat the shit out of it every weekend still no problems. Maybe I am just lucky it had 120 stock pressure when I got it checked it today its the same. whats up with that. I bet I am just as fast as the rest with 10 grand into thier bikes.Not bitching just ,making a point. You shouldn't have to throw good cash away to have fun.Anybody else got an opinion?Tim

put that jet back in that is the choke side bowel it is supposed to be there. There are two differrent sides for the bike one with jet for choke side one without for the other

you will need a short phillips screwdriver just shut off the gas run it till it goes out hold the throttle down to expell all the gas from the bowels take them off.do them one at a time not to mix them up there is a difference in the bowles you could also take off the choke hose and turn them out alittle to make it easier to get to the bowel screws. just wandering what is supposed to be hooked to the top side of the radiator coolant bottle under the seat or is this another overflow that just gets a blank hose ?thanks for the info on the other subject i did mess with the air and it helped my bottom end somewhat I will change the jets tommorow to 27.5 cause I am out 2-2.5 on the airscrews

I have my air screws at 1.5 out it does stayed revved when I am riding it takes awhile to calm down after a long fast run

I have a 87 with fmf golds, fmf silencers, open box k&n, boost bottle.Doesn't have that quick brapp when you gas it in nuetral it kinda bogs alittle. compression 180 both, 290 mains 25 pilots plugs good and tan I have problems getting off the go unless I floor it it runs kinda blaugh from the start when the power band kicks it rips, do they all ( shees) seem that way or ?I am wonering if I shouldn't go up to 27.5 on pilots. what do you think? any help would be appreciated gents!

could anybody tell me what stock jetting is for a 2001 blaster I am trying to get it to idle but no luck has uni and fmf gold pipe oil injection still hooked up has 250 main and had 32.5 piot I took it out and put in a 27.5 pilot not sure what stock is but i don't think its 32.5 for the pilot.Runs quick just no idle have to throttle the biotch! Anybody who can help it would be appreciated and sorry for the post hear about the blaster but blater hq would not let me on
