  9. no you have to modify, how big was the guy you got the banshee from compared to you in weight wise. all you have to do is adjust the ones you have.Get a clymers to know how to adjust or e-mail edison445 he has it on file to send I believe
  10. each connection has 2 tires just cut them and wrap them together with some tape hence closing the circuit, think of it as turning on a switch its open when off and closed when on.the connections touch when on.don't touch when off. if the connections are left open they can't let current travel thru them. hope this helps!
  11. sounds like your mid is ok if your bogging starts when wot comes than I would move up to a 300 main and try it. to move the needles you need to take the carb tops off turn them upside down and pull the spring back, move the cable catch out of the groove, take out the two little screws the rest is self explained by looking at it apart.when taking apart the frist time is a pain but once you do it about 100 times you will get used to it. just be careful when putting it back together not to strip the carb tops.
  12. isn't there an age rstriction on this site like above 3rd grade. Hate to say it but I am glad my children can spell better than that 8 and 14

  14. I don't think just the snorkel would make that much of a difference, the hole under it isn't much bigger
  15. if you just take the snorkel off no. lid off you would have to get a new filter and water proof skin and rejet. you don't have to take the snorkel off for any reason
  16. yes but you have to connect them to close the cricuits
  17. be careful what you get different plugs for different years
  18. where are you located I might take it off your hands
  19. I agree but I would take off the gas tank emtpy it and spray it with a whole can of carb cleaner on the inside take off the petcock clean that as well you might have sand or? in there then move on to the carbs and do what they said clean them one at a time and make sure the boots are clean before you reinstall check your float height set them by the Clymers suggestionsWhile apart check you reeds and clean them put in all back together with clean dry hands so to not get any dirt in there. I do this thorough cleaning twice a year and reg cleaning at each ride when in sand.
  20. sorry my bad I was looking for a smaller street bake not enough snow for me to have that. Thanks now I feel like an idiot! hehe
  21. thats the only adjustment on the front end that I know of unless your shocks that bad off or you brakes are sticking, arms or frame are bent. count the amount of threads on the tierods showing on each side they should be the same measure the distance between the tire fronts and back and front they should be equal
  22. can you send me any pics of the bike and a better description, I am in NW indiana [email protected]
  23. Where are you located ?got any pics to e-mail? send to [email protected]
  24. I had the same problem last year was running 280 main with 25 pilot(60-70) it got alittle colder out 10-15 degree (40-50) difference went to a 300 main 27.5 pilot got rid of the WOT bog problem but I will go back down to 280 when the weather warms up.Does yours run good till you nail it in higher gears and it sounds like its choking for fuel if so this should help.My plugs always look burn't don't know why, they don't foul out so>>>>>>>>>>>>>>.
  25. Cut the wires at the ignition for the parking brake and twist and tape them together, cut the wires where the connectors for the tors meet the wire harness and twist and tape them together.Under the gas tank on the left side as sitting on the shee unplug and remove the black tors control box and toss it, its not worth anything to sell.Install the removal kit to the carbs and adjust your idle. You are all set!
