  1. Brings a whole new meaning to premium breast strips.
  2. Yea what Nug said. If they last 6 times longer like you said, then you don't have to be a rocket scientist to figure out the savings. Very good job!!!
  3. I went from a sand skate v paddle to 10 paddle extreme haulers. I didn't notice little if any difference in turning ability. Pretty much the same. For all around duning I would go with a 20 to 21'' tire. 22's and above are more for dragging and you will lose some slideability with tire roll flex. I use the 20's and they do everything well. Though I'm thinking of getting some 22's just for when I like to drag. It's up to you but the 20'' tire will definitely out handle the 22''. It seems your set-up is more geared for handling versus straight line speed.
  4. Cascade makes some really nice custom headlight covers. They can send you some vinyl samples to match your color scheme. Otherwise Rockymountainatv and magicracing are the two company's I use the most.
  5. Word! You never know when that could happen here in the states.
  6. Happy Birthday!!
  7. I know a lot of professional welders that are doing other things to put bread on the table. I also know 2 that have to do a lot of traveling if they want to stay busy. It's like anything out there, you have to be good and dedicated to get the money paying jobs.
  8. I second the porting. Tons of power can be had, but you will also need some larger carbs to get the best performance from your porting. Porting was the most noticeable power improvement I've had, even over adding aftermarket pipes.
  9. You will eventually want to get some aftermarket shocks set-up for your weight, riding style and your a-arms. Your stock one's will be a little soft and you may find yourself bottoming out frequently with the a-arms. So plan on saving for a new set of shocks.
  10. Hard part for me wasn't mounting the swinger to the shee. It was getting my axle in my new carrier and getting the sprocket hub on. Man what a freakin tight fit. Then another pain in the ass getting my chains masterlink clip on. I think I broke like 2 of them It's always those things that should be simple that throw a wrench into your day.
  11. +4 or +5 degree's. I'm running +5.
  12. I wonder what the weight difference is between the RS and the stock unit? If the RS unit has larger magents then it would have less metal making it somehwat lighter. Unless that is compensated for in another area. Anyone have a clue? I should of weighed them when I had both of them.
  13. Looks like a good price. They are great units too. Might also check with Janssen Racing, they also have a nice stem and you could probably save you quite a few bucks. I have the Janssen with the anti-vibe system and it's way nice. I got it for 270 shipped to my front door.
  14. Which stage 4 porting did you go with? Give us a report on your performance. Kudos to Brock and DJ.
  15. Whatever you may want to chrome or polish, do it now if your looking to do it. Otherwise save for a swinger and suspension mods.
  16. You can always run 50/50 mix with pump gas to save money.
  17. Hell I'll sell ya some domes cheap if you want to buy the head. They are 22cc domes for a cool head and believe they also fit the Noss heads.
  18. Don't use a dremmel to polish it, well you can but it will not look near as good as it would with a bigger wheel. The small wheel will streak the aluminum instead of giving it an even surface shine. Small pieces you would never notice, but you will notice it on the clutch cover.
  19. Interesting. Thanks for the info. Hope mine doesn't do that, lol. Well I'm sure if it was going to it would have already.
  20. I was told by White Knuckle Racing, that lightened mine, that there is no difference compared to lightening the stock unit or the RS. That is the only reason you didn't get my flywheel Ron . Though they did tell me this and how true it is I don't know. They did an excelletn job. Though I would always send my stuff to you or boon first. Didn't know about boon at the time.
  21. That would be total cool. I'm almost dead set on them and if for some reason they don't work, I still need some for my truck. So they won't actually go to waste. I'm just going to get a 44'' length with 4 of the ends.
  22. Yea I hate to hear that myself. You hate to see a company with killer products get a bad rap for something as simple as customer service when it's maintaining quality innovative products that's the hard part. I'm glad Brock (rocketpig) is here to get things straight. It would be a wise investment for Trinity just to have a PR person to take care of this stuff on different forums to turn the bad name around. Brock, I would keep Harry well aware of the situations you encounter, cause it is ultimately his responsibility to make sure it is rectified before he notices it in sales. Then it is usually too late. A company like that should definitely have a dedicated PR person, and Brock, your just the guy for the job. Keep up the good work.
  23. Antique. Bronze plate them, mount them to a plaque and put them on the wall.
  24. Yep, doesn't take long to drop a ton a cash into a banshee. Most of us know how that is, I'm just glad my wife is ok with it. I just hate thinking how many quads I could of had, though I only have one for myself.
  25. Thanks Tats, I'm going to PM him now. I've been contemplating and measuring and it would be great to check out someone that has done it cause that shit ain't cheap if it's a poor decision.
