  1. Happy Birthday !!!!!!!!!!
  2. In all reality, buy a bike that suits you or looks the best to you. From experience, handling is the most important factor when buying a sports bike. Speed? I've yet to ever hit top speed on my bike, there really is no point running around at 170+mph. Don't believe all the magazine hype, it's just that. Insurance is a big one, even for me at 34 y/o and no tickets or accidents in 10yrs it's still 80 dollars a month for full coverage. I highly recommend paying cash and getting liability for some of you. My liability coverage is 7 dollars a month, big difference. As for bikes, my choice in the 600 department most definitely would be the CBR600rr hands down and the 1000rr for a liter bike. I'll have a 1000rr next spring unless they make a different liter bike.
  3. Might check with Janssen Racing, can get them for a little better price than their advertsied price and come with a full lifetime warranty.
  4. Hit up NYUK, I'm sure he can get you a used set at a reasonable price.
  5. Also I think it has a lot to do with where you ride and the type and density of the sand. Like Ron mentioned, for LS the 10 paddles are perfect and I've thought at times I would like more paddle cause I get too much spin and feel like I'm getting nowhere. Other times it iwll practically flip over in first and second (prolly moisture changes in the sand) You might see what other riders in your area are using for the best decision.
  6. Well since everything else has been replaced it looks like it may just be the cdi. You might disconnect your tors and check your key and ignition switch for any problems while awaiting delivery.
  7. There's been some problems with a few people that have had them. Splitting and such. I can't say first hand but there is a thread on them somewhere.
  8. Make sure you didn't loose a timing plate screw and that it's not flipping around inside your flywheel.
  9. Different smokes for different folks.
  10. RMATV firt for me, if they don't have it then Magic. If neither of them have it then I don't need it.
  11. Good idea and a hellofa job at that!!!
  12. Chuck, no problems switching back and forth. Might look at a cheaper price for synthetic though, Mobil 1 15-50 is easily accessible and around 5 dollars a quart. Really awesome stuff and will protect better after 20hrs than dyno oil will new out of the bottle.
  13. Someone makes some billet spindles though I can't remember who.
  14. Happy Birthday!!!
  15. I have to hand it to ya man for keeping your cool. I try to avoid situations like that cause I'm sure I would definitely be in jail or dead one.
  16. Duece, sorry to hear about your luck, though sounds like you've been pretty fortunate so far. Remember, what doesn't kill you will make you stronger and better prepared next time. Maybe this is a wake-up call to take a closer look at those policies to better cover you in the future. Keep us informed and we'll keep you in our prayers.
  17. Borla and Corsica make the best systems though their not too loud. Just very low and mellow. For loud check out a glasspack system.
  18. I never like to drink alone, so I log on to the BHQ before I pop the top.
  19. You just payed me back, thanks for the view.
  20. I wonder if they trim bushes?
  21. Gotta have connections.
  22. Dudes a handi-cap one armed mechanic, charges 60 an hour for labor.
  23. Looks like a desert seat. They also went to town with some silver paint.
  24. They look somewhat smaller than the stock tank. Anyone know how much they hold? Any pro's and cons? I could only find them from White Knuckle Racing, does anyone else carry them? Thanks in advance for any info.
