    Cold Winter

IT WAS ALREADY LATE FALL AND THE INDIANS ON A REMOTE RESERVATION IN SOUTH DAKOTA ASKED THEIR NEW CHIEF IF THE COMING WINTER WAS GOING TO BE COLD OR MILD. SINCE HE WAS A CHIEF IN A MODERN SOCIETY HE HAD NEVER BEEN TAUGHT THE OLD SECRETS. WHEN HE LOOKED AT THE SKY HE COULDN'T TELL WHAT THE WINTER WAS GOING TO BE LIKE. NEVERTHELESS, TO BE ON THE SAFE SIDE, HE TOLD HIS TRIBE THAT THE WINTER WAS INDEED GOING TO BE COLD AND THAT THE MEMBERS OF THE VILLAGE SHOULD COLLECT FIREWOOD TO BE PREPARED. BUT BEING A PRACTICAL LEADER, AFTER SEVERAL DAYS HE GOT AN IDEA. HE WENT TO THE PHONE BOOTH, CALLED THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE AND ASKED, 'IS THE COMING WINTER GOING TO BE COLD?' 'IT LOOKS LIKE THIS WINTER IS GOING TO BE QUITE COLD,' THE METEOROLOGIST AT THE WEATHER SERVICE RESPONDED. SO THE CHIEF WENT BACK TO HIS PEOPLE AND TOLD THEM TO COLLECT EVEN MORE FIREWOOD IN ORDER TO BE PREPARED. A WEEK LATER HE CALLED THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE AGAIN. 'DOES IT STILL LOOK LIKE IT IS GOING TO BE A VERY COLD WINTER?' 'YES,' THE MAN AT NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE AGAIN REPLIED, 'IT'S GOING TO BE A VERY COLD WINTER.' THE CHIEF AGAIN WENT BACK TO HIS PEOPLE AND ORDERED THEM TO COLLECT EVERY SCRAP OF FIREWOOD THEY COULD FIND. TWO WEEKS LATER THE CHIEF CALLED THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE AGAIN. 'ARE YOU ABSOLUTELY SURE THAT THE WINTER IS GOING TO BE VERY COLD?' 'ABSOLUTELY,' THE MAN REPLIED. 'IT'S LOOKING MORE AND MORE LIKE IT IS GOING TO BE ONE OF THE COLDEST WINTERS WE'VE EVER SEEN.' 'HOW CAN YOU BE SO SURE?' THE CHIEF ASKED. THE WEATHERMAN REPLIED, 'THE INDIANS ARE COLLECTING FIREWOOD LIKE CRAZY.
  2. That is sweet, sounds like a banshee looks like a buggy.
  3. What do you run, Conoco Skat 2 stroke oil? It is tcw-3 certified and recommended for ALL 2 stroke motors water and air cooled. It is an awesome oil and have used it for years in every 2 stroke I've had. I've never blown a motor. I've used it in my cub motor as well.
  4. Yea my 11 y/o finished it in about 3 days on regular difficulty. Resistance usually takes me 4 or so days to complete, but on Superhuman it took me like 2 weeks.
  5. I use the PS controllers. I know it's hard to get away from the keyboard and mouse, I used them for years. You may be able to hook them up and use them though I'm not sure cause I haven't tried. I'm use to the controllers and see no benefit of going back to keyboard mouse combo other than what a person is use to. As for a comparison between a high end PC and the PS3, I'm really unsure and can only speculate. I would assume at this time they would be pretty close. I don't see any games really tapping much into either's capabilities. I think in the future when game corporations start to have a better understanding of the PS3's cell is when the system will really shine. Who knows if or when this will happen because my understanding is they will have to make games totally different than the way they make them for xbox and PC use. Oh and that Epilogue doesn't do the game any justice whatsover. It looks way better than that.
  6. The maps are open but of course you have certain objectives to accomplish and a certain direction you have to go. It reminds me a lot of Socom but way more realistic.
  7. Strictly dunes.
  8. I've been playing it pretty heavy for the last 2 days on the PS3. I just CANNOT believe the graphics on this game!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! The game is stunning in every detail and the best graphics I've seen to date . I thought resistance at 720p looked good, but it just can't hang with 1080p. I did notice my PS3's fan finally kicked up a notch to where I could hear it run. That game must require some juice.
  9. I couldn't think of a name racing or motorsports.
  10. I have a brother -in-law that works for a Yamaha dealership. He told me the exact same thing about 7-8 months ago. I've yet to say anything cause I don't know how true it is. He said the Yamaha factory reps hinted abou tit but really couldn't spill the beans. Only poroblems I see is there is no way they will release it with that much power and it will cost a fortune to tweak as much power as we can get from our 2 strokes.
  11. Yea I think that's the best place to put them but also prefer billet clamps.
  12. I totally agree!!! Now I don't know the full circumstances, but (for example) if you buy a 120 link chain and the guy sends you a 119 cause he accidentally counted the links wrong, he is completely and entirely responsible for all costs. If he sent you what you ordered and you want an exchange or refund, then you pay all costs. This is just how ligitimate and reputable service is and it should also be this way among BHQ members. If people don't see it this way then I wouldn't want to buy or trade with you. Now if there is a misunderstanding for whatevewr reason, then you just have to work the situation out the best you can, which this may have been the case, I don't know.
  13. Monster Motorsports and Machine. Logo with 3M's in a chevron or such or Racing Precision Motorsports RPM
  14. I liked the guys comment about the Kharma's, wondering if they come with an Ipod plug. lmao
  15. That's some funny stuff there. Sounds typical of a banshee ownder, piss on what the wifes doing, my sprocket is worn and now I'm really pissed. LOL
  16. Congratulations!!! One of these days he may make you look like an amateur rider on your own banshee. lol
  17. If it were a single wire transfering data, then this wouldn't be a problem. Think more along the lines of timing of data from one end of the cable to the other over multiple connections. Does the data from these wires come out at one end at the same time together in the same relationship as they entered the cable and are they balanced and equal? If the timing is off then the data has indeed changed, though theoretically it is the same data and 100% of it was completely transfered. Could this possibly affect audio/video quality?
  18. Think about how you can have a complete 100% transfer of digital information, yet the information has changed somehow. Can that happen? Sure, and what is that and how can cables create or excacerbate the problem? It has to do with sheer design quality.
  19. Your, in a confusing way, wanting to say that all cables across the board are equal even with the same CEC rating. Either they send the information or they don't regardless of price and technology it is the same as the next. I disagree, if this is a correct assumption. Lets look a little deeper here, the advancements in technology of the HDMI have come along ways with windings, coating, balancing, conductors, soldering, material, on and on etc since the advent of the 1.0... It's very easy for an HDMI 1.3 cable to look better on a 1.0 system. The specification are much more critical based on there data transfer rates. Therefore they have to be of higher quality to even work on a 1.3 system. Granted the 1.0 system will not benefit from all of the 1.3 capabilities because they are not incorporated, but believe me they can look better than a 1.0 cable just solely based on the advancement in design and quality of materials used. I also feel this could be reversed in certain cases where a high quality 1.0 cable could render better attributes than a cheap 1.3 on those attributes they share. And granted don't take me wrong when I say 30 dollar cable compared to a 150 dollar cable. I totally agree the cable market is a racket and they will charge you high end prices for low quality stuff. Yes some and many 30 dollar cables can and will outperform and equally perform as well as much higher priced units. This is because price does not equal the technology and materials used in some of these cables. That's where research comes into play in reviewing cable comparisons in real world scenario's. Not just a bunch of hype on the cover or a 1.3 rating.
  20. You can also check out some turntables for over 100k. No one will ever convince a true audiophile that digital is better than vinyl. Also check out the link for the most expensive speakers and amps. Turntables
  21. I was thinking about the Kharma's when I was looking at the other speakers. Be nice to have a pair of those, they only weigh a ton each and use a pair of Halcro dm88 mono block amps. Kharma Grand Enigma's
  22. It'll pump the other way.
  23. Yea cause it already looks like it's going backwards when you race other quads. LOL :yelrotflmao: J/K
  24. I missed the pin for the shift star. Saw this little shiny rod that rolled under my motorcycle, was like OMG where does that thing go? lol
