1. Trail Tech's with 75 watt bulbs and HO RS stator. Awesome!!
2. What people don't understand is that porting at the very best of the porters ability may not be able to duplicate his best work spot on every time. This may be loco's case as well as a few others. 2 juggs from the same porter doesn't mean they are indentical in performance and/or tuning. This is not something new BTW, this has gone on as long as motors have been ported. I'm sure most people or would hope know this, prolly just didn't think about it possibly coming into play with passion racing.
3. The R1 motor would last a hellofa lot longer though.
4. Chrome is way more durable than PC, only downfall is when you chip it or it flakes you can't touch it up like you can PC and make it look right. Chrome all the way IMO and wouldn't look back.
5. You will need the larger carb adapters that will fit on the larger carbs then mount to your stock airbox. I have some UPP adapters brand new if your interested. They are between 20 to 25 bucks for the pair, I'll sell mine for 10 plus shipping and they are still in the package brand new. I opted to go with the clamp on k and n's.
6. You don't have to cut anything, just get an aftermarket lever, lever only, from modquad or cascade and it extend the lever out a bit allowing for easier operation. You can take the spring out of your throttle housing if your tors is removed.
7. Trijicon and ghost rings make some killer night sights. I wouldn't consider any other brand than sig myelf. Although I favor the 357sig in the p229, arguably the most accurate pistol caliber ever made. Either way you can't go wrong.
8. Kinda like this one j/k. Yep there has been a lull in interesting new posts.
9. Increased compression and advanced timing.
10. Absolutely, probably the cheapest mod with the most benefit.
11. Well the only place they can flame you is on a web site. It's all the pent up agression from years of eating sand and dirt.
12. Your welcome! They have every banshee bolt in stainless, either plain or show polished finish. I've been much impressed with the stuff. They have a kit on ebay sometimes, covers all bolts on the shee except the swingarm, uppera-arms, and foot pegs. I believe that is about it. I spent about 200 total with the swingarm bolt costing 52.00 of that.
13. Working on a deal on a +4 swingarm right now, if it's not what I expect or if it does not have skidplate moutns I may just get the +2 and fork up the extra $200 I have not been able to get ahold of TCS, Maybe they are too buisy to rebuild my shock. 290314 I can't get a hold of them either, at least they won't respond to my emails, Elka wrote me back the same day, so did Works.
14. quote=PUSH THE THROTTLE,Dec 7 2004, 06:40 PM] Where'd you get a stainless bolt of that size? Just curious. 290169 Check the link.Alloy Boltz[
15. When you get it out of there, let me know, I have a bolt that is practically new. Used for a while till I got my Stainless steel bolt.
16. Lee may have to reset it.
17. I paid 20 for them, I'll take 10.00 plus shipping. PM me if interested. They are to adapt the larger 34-35mm carbs to the stock airbox.
18. Is that seat for sale? I need it before anyone else sits on it.
19. There's an arcade!!!! Where?
20. Yea looks like a price for a set of titaniums. At least I would hope, i'm thinking they should know the market better than that.
21. Yes I have had that problems, and it pisses me off to no end. One time I had to wait a day just to post my item. Dunno what the deal is with that.
22. Well I have to support my school, but regardless it's going to be O.U. all the way.
23. Mines always made a similar noise, pull in the clutch, walla it's gone , let out and it kinda rattles. Does that sound like what yours is doing? Mines done that for as long as I can rememeber, never a problem though. I also think it's more noticeable at different times too.
24. How many hours of riding did it take to log that many miles? I would definitely say it is time for new rings and pistons for sure. I'm very curious to know what shape they are in after that many miles , so when you do tear it down let me know what the rings look like.
