Haha, those african claud frogs Tate? We had one of those for a little while but it ended up dying.. It was a older one we "adopted" because the people were moving outta the country. Some pretty good info there.. I have seen some funky crap go down when it comes to outta whack pick-up setting, bent, flywheels, startors ect.. I seen a bent fly wheel do virtualy the same thing.. Run like dog at idle but clean up for the most part when revved up.. RIPPEN

Recently the whole compression topic had been thrown around lately so I may get blasted here or proved wrong but on 91 cranking comp I personly wouldn't go much over 155 psi or so.. There are tons of factors that go into actual compression over cranking compression so it gets tough but like I said, my rule of thumb is anything over 150-155 I start to mix and everything over 175-180 psi I start to go to full race fuel.. I have cut 18cc domes(4mill) and I have 170 psi cranking compression.. Previous build was a stock stroke with 17ccs right around the same PSI both with aggresive dune ports and +4 timing.. Both setup I ran on the safe side with 50/50 mix fuel.. Iam thinking you would be after 18's and still ok with pump fuel.. As far as your current comp I think its fine considering the altitude. Most the stock bikes I have seen tested around here were not much higher than that.. Maybe 120's on the fresher bikes with a milled head if I remember correctly... RIPPEN

Not always the case.. Him putting gas on the filters and it firing right up points more to a jetting/tuning issue rather than compression.. Afterall, adding fuel doesn't add compression.. BUT like everyone else is saying, a guy that has those kind of practices(pours fuel on filters) you obviously wanna stay away from.. Guys like that either don't know what they are doing or don't care so it would probably scare the hell out of you if you knew the crap they have done to it over the time they have had it.. When I rode that bike in MO at Tylers it ripped pretty hard and was getting light in the front end over fairly small "mounds" with what, a 6 over swinger.?. Looked like a super clean build(one of the cleaner hybrids I have seen yet) but I will say I didn't look THAT close at the welds and such..
