Have you swapped plug wires to see if the porblem follows the wire... I.E. starts missing on right side? RIPPEN

Personaly I would maybe recomend just having the stock cyl's you have now ported for the exact style riding you do.. Not sure of the exact deal you have there(money wise) but Iam willing to bet a good port job with you current mods would work well for you and be a bit cheaper.. And hey, with the money you save you could probably buy a couple other mods to compliment the port.. RIPPEN

By the time a guy buys the templates, tools, cyl's to replace the ones he F-ed up, and time he has spent.. He could of had SEVERAL sets of cyl's that RIP done by a good builder.. Like some have said, I belive porting is a art form.. So I would leave it to the artists.. RIPPEN

Removing the crank is definatly more work and a bit more complicated but if your decent with engines and have a clymers you shouldn't have to much of a problem. Getting the crank true&welded ist a bad idea and I belive Jeff does it for around $70(CHECK THE WEBSITE :beer: ) Oh and I think you would really dig that Dune/play port :thumbsup: RIPPEN

More than likely the cylders will have to be bored out if that scratch is that deep at all.. As far a warranty on the head, I doubt it..
