  1. Where is the article.............? After a day at the dunes my thumb starts to get used to it so its not so bad. The other thing that I try is putting the tip of the thumb lever deeper into my thumb down by the base. That way I don't need a lot of pressure to push it..............
  2. Dude, just what you have up there adds up to $2450. Do yourself a favor and contact a reputable builder, Jeff at FAST, Jim at Passion, there's also A&S, and many others. they can give you what they would charge to do this, plus you need to factor in 225 for labor to put it together unless you are going to do it yourself........... That price I said the first time also includes 35 mm Airstyker's w/ pods.............
  3. You are looking at about $2300- 2500. Which are Cubs with clean up port, new crank, piston's, seals, pancake bearing, etc. But then it also depends on the other goodies that you decide to add to your order. Like for me I added the lock-up clutch, +4 extended swinger, which also needs a longer chain..........and on , and on, and on Hope this helps
  4. Mine is off the bike now and it will never, ever go back on. That had to be one of Yamaha's more asinine designs................ ::
  5. That really depends on how much they want for it. My coworker just sold his for $4700, but it took him a little while. I told him that it was because it was green........... :yelrotflmao: I'd much rather be on a crotch rocket.

Thats a rip and yes, it is easy if you are mechanically inclined, and if you own a Banshee you better be. If you can take your carbs apart you have it made, your best bet is to invest in a Clymer's it will be your best friend..................

  11. That sounds cool to go watch. I went to a NHRA sanctioned event in Kamloops British Columbia about 9 years ago and saw them runnin' the sleds. HOLY $hi!@&?, those things are quick. They were doin' like 165-170 on a SNOWMOBILE. I'm not sure what they were, but a couple of them had Rotax motor's in them, and alls I can say is DAAAAAAAAAAAAMN.................
  12. Ya, I know it really sucks to wear glasses, but contacts are not too terribly bad. I don't have that bad of sight, so I rarely even wear glasses. When I do though it's only to watch something far away that I want to see clearly. I tried wearin' contacts at sand mountain a couple of times, and it wasn't to bad. By the end of the day my eyes were a little sore, but tolerable. I stopped wearin' glasses years ago, and when I went into the optometrist my eyes actaully got better. The doctor said that the muscles may have gotten stronger because I forced them to see without correction. I feel your pain for those of you who wear glasses. You just need to watch out for your buddies sick jokes when you are partyin' with them and have a few to many. "Come on Larry, you can jump that. No, No, it just looks like the Grand Canyon." Here, have another couple-a beers, then you can try it." :yelrotflmao:
