  4. Ya it's amazing how fast people mod'em and then are faster than you........ :yelrotflmao:
  5. Man thats pricey, but I guess if you have to know................. Just as long as I'm faster can ride better than the guy lined up next to me I'm happy
  6. As always RIPPEN, nicely stated..................
  7. Ya, its 100-104 here in Northern California, but hey thats what we like right. I'm west of Tahoe about an hour and a half and temps here range from 13 in the winter to 107 in the summer. We really don't have season's though, it goes straight from winter to summer within a week. I'ts all good though.......................
  8. Oh come on you needed a real truck................. :yelrotflmao: Just kiddin' man congrats on the new ride. The trucks are made different, but my wife comes to me one day and says that she wants me to make her truck look like a truck. So, i took her 3/4 ton Dodge with the Cummins and put a 5" Superlift kit and 37" Toyo's and it, and it does not rub at all. I went with Toyo's Open Country tires because they actually make round tires (three or four piece mold), and don't vibrate at highway speeds. They do really good off road too. The Superswamper's and others are made with a two piece mold and are hard to keep balanced. Just some thoughts................
  9. Hello father for I have sinned, it has been six mont................Oh, sorry confession. :yelrotflmao: I rode motorcycles for years, either street or dirt and enjoyed them a lot. Then about five years ago my brother bought a Black limited edition Raptor 660 and a Honda 250. He invited our whole family to Sand Mountain NV for a weekend of quad and motorcycle ridin'. We had fun, but then it was more fun when he let me ride his quad. That was a hell-of-a-lot more fun than my motorcycle, so we were all hooked. My parents went out and bought a Raptor and a warrior, and a family friend also bought a warrior. So we went for a little longer and then a friend of mine sold me a 250R ATC which was fun until it died, then wifey and I decided it was time to get the family quads. My brother sold his Honda 250 and bought a Banshee, thats all it took for me because I couldn't get the smile off my face. I bought my wife a Raptor 660, me a Banshee and my daughter a Warrior and the rest is history. This family sport took hold and is now in all of our blood, my dad also went and bought a Banshee (age 57), and we owe it all to my little brother, thanks man.............
  10. I hate to hear about situations like that, but may he rest in peace and our hearts go out to his friends and family. May he ride the heavenly dunes for all eternity.................
  11. Florida seems rather harsh on ATV'ers. I am in northern California, so 10 hours and I can be at Oregon Dunes or Glamis, 8 hours to Dumont or 4 hours to Sand Mountain...............decisions, decisions
  12. The deep love you share for a friend will last for all eternity......................peace.
  13. Is there an actual question there somewhere.............................? :yelrotflmao: The first sentence is a statement, and the next one, "somebody knows", knows what exactly?
  14. $4000 for an 05 is a damn good deal, especially if it is like new. Once he gets the parts switched over then it will look sweet too. He may want to think about future mods and ditch the T-6's while they are new and sell them to buy better pipes.................... Just a thought
  15. See that one big family..................
  16. I'd be afraid that I would tear somethin' up doin' that..................
  17. The voices are telling him that he is a schyzophrenic stalker................ "stalker?, who me, no I'm not, yes I am............. :yelrotflmao: But then again he also can't figure out why he can't sneek up on people while ridin' his banshee.
  18. Are you sure it just wasn't on the bike when you bought it.................?
  19. Your best advice would be to contact a reputable builder, and find out because everyone charges different amounts and does different work for different styles and conditions for riding.................
  20. :yelrotflmao: :yelrotflmao: :yelrotflmao: That reminds me of the old joke, "Why is eatin' pu$$y like being in the mafia..................." One slip of the tongue and you're in deep $hit................... :yelrotflmao:
  21. It does cost a lot to run a site like this, and the other sites that you are referring to get paid by sponsors ie. advertisers, so it is a volluntary thing. This is the best site to hang out in on the web, and if you don't want to pay the money to join then don't. Just don't bitch about the service you get because you don't want to participate. At your age you will soon learn that nothin' in this world is free, you'll always pay one way or the other...................
  22. Is still searchin' for the space aliens in Roswell............... :yelrotflmao:
  23. Trail ridin' a cub is not a good idea. If the trail is tight and technical you are not going to be happy, but if it is like loggin' roads where you can open it up or open dunes or hill shootin' you'll be good to go.................
  24. The bushings sound cool, but otherwise tap it with a zerk fitting to grease it.............
  25. Isn't this supposed to go in the For Sale section at the bottom of the forum list? :shoothead:
