A friend of mine recently gave me a clutch side cover that I plan on polishing.I noticed that the with cover he gave me the water pump impeller spins really freely ,all I have to do is barely spin the gear and it makes a few rounds with little to no resistance.The one presently on my bike has much more resistance alot stiffer to spin,it still spins but it feels totally different.Lately my bike has been running a little hotter than it used to and I am thinking that maybe my waterpump bearing is starting to go bad.I know most people at one time or another have grabbed the little white waterpump gear and gave the impeller a spin. How easily have yall noticed the impeller to spin with a little twist??? Thanks Mark

If anybody makes it to the Clash of the titans in Louisiana, thats held a couple of times a year.There is usualy a couple of blasters that race there, that beat all stock piped banshees and most all ported one too...I think CP customs blaster is running around 4.5 in the 300' and Luke from L.R.E. racincg had built one that ran a 4.4. Thats fast for a blaster I don't care who you are!!!! I really doubt the one on ebay will beat a stock banshee though..
  9. Either one works well for smooth shifting,but the shift pro doesn't help you find neutral like a modded shift star.
  10. Yamabond on everything but the head gasket.On the head gasket I usually use nothing, but a friend oif mine sprayed some type of copper colored sealer spray last time I installed a head gasket, he was bragging how that spray was the shit to prevent head gasket leaks...
  11. I run 21x12x8 10 paddle haulers on my son's bike and it does good for dune/dragging. Thats with a +4 swingarm and a drag port...

  15. Its a 350 drag ported by RB Racing,T-5 pipes, V- force II reeds,with +4 timing.The carbs have 52 pilots,152 mains and If I remember correctly it has CGL needles they are in the middle clip.
  16. I was actually putting it on the dyno to dail in some 34mm pjs I installed.I am running 152 mains and figured it would be rich, but the sniffer said it was pretty close. Kinda hard to believe since the bike bogs some on top in the upper gears.I thought I would just fine tune it on the dyno but this shit happens.Anyways I pulled peak power in 1.7 seconds it showed the torque to be 67# and the hp to be 50. I was running the dyno with turf tamers on the rear and he made the pull in 3rd gear.
  17. Luckily it wasn't to bad.The rod and ball and the adjustment screw were all welded together but the actuator side still looked new. So once I popped the adjustment screw away from the ball the rod/ball slid right out with a magnet... What would make torque #s be higher than hp#s ?
  18. He had the clutch pulled in when it happened,so i really don't think it was the adjustment..

I don't know how the hell it happened.I pulled the bike off of the truck, my son ran it around abit to warm it up and pulled it up on the dyno.The first pass the dyno had a problem and didn't get a read,the second pull as he slowed down the drum,with the clutch pulled in,the rod and ball welded and caused the bike to jump as the tires tried to lock up.The dyno showed that i had more torque than h.p. How can that be? Anybody know what could have caused this?My clutch was adjusted correctly and I had the proper amount of trans fluid.Where can I buy the pancake bearing so this shit don't happen again... Thanks mark

  21. Has anyone seen the new Thundercat 4X4 by arctic cat? Its right underr 1000cc and supposed to have the fastest acceleration out of all quads, sport or utility.That will be something too see kickin ass at the dunes.....

  23. Keep an eye on e-bay, the last piston kit I bought off of ebay for $64.00 http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAP...em=180138480312 The one before that kit I paid about $110.00 with gaskets.
