  1. Kevin tuned it and everything so I know that's set and done. He told me that bigger carbs, more compression, more timing would get me well into the 70s. I plan on dynoing it, but not anytime soon. I just wanted to see what real world numbers people are putting out with a similar setup.Also what size haulers would you guys recommend? Is a 20x10 x10 8 paddle hauler a good choice?

  3. Hi all, I was just curious if someone could give me some estimates on how much hp my setup is putting out? My mods are as follows Hjr dune/hillshoot port job shaved head Shearer sb pipes and silencers (sound amazing btw!) Advanced timing +4 Chariot reed cages K&n pod Filters Kevin told me that I should be at about 65-70 hp for sure with this setup on 91 octane. I test rode it down my street the other day and wow it has so much more power when compared to when I just had the fmf fatties and just a K&N. I didn't even go full throttle because the thing just wanted to lift the tires in first and second gear. With just that little sample ride i'm very happy. Can't wait to get out to dumont or glamis and really test this baby out.

  5. i just have a regular k&n drop in filter with an outerwear. my friends dual filter setup is exposed to everything so he has to clean more often. unless you want to go into all out drag, i dont see the dual filter setup any better than having the box, other than the nice sound it makes while you blip the throttle. i respect either setup. :cool:
  6. ok guys i know that most of you have modified air filtration systems. so yeah bottom line whats the best setup because i have a stock airbox setup and it always gets me nervous when i go to ride. i do sand and every time when i get back from riding i take off the filter and theres is always a little bit of sand in between where it connects to the carb. i just want to know what is the best filter setup for these bikes period in terms of keeping the engine clean.i was thinking of the twin k& s that connect to the carbs those look clean.
  7. my dad has an 88 and his gave out for the lights like 2 years ago so they last pretty long
  8. i like the fatties i heard they're better with porting than the sst.
  9. i would like my bike all black but everything everything nah gotta have some silver color in it. i would like my rims black and fenders but thats it.

  11. how long do i leave the 2 by 4s on and will it stay in this position forever or eventually go back down?
  12. cool head for what it adds compression so how can it cool down anything and besides the cooling is on the circulation on the radiator so in my op get the radiator with another impeller not the coolhead.
  13. my back fenders arent straight they curve down and it looks ugly how can i fix this? when i bought the quad it was like that maybe the original owner had it in the sun or it was always pushed their to make it stay down instead of up
  14. how much for just the silencers i really need those i have turbinecore 2s and yes i have the same pipes as you.

  20. those silencers are also turbine cores mine look different than those mine have like a little turn down in the end.
  21. just wanted to know if this affects power or anything cause i really love the sound of toomeys and i want to put those and take out my turbine core 2s. also if i put them which model silencer do i put t3 t4 or t5?
  22. i have fmf fatties they came with the bike. are these any good? my bike is stock and i plan to keep it stock for now later ill port and polish it it has the turbine core 2s silencers which are spark arrestors. should i change to the power core 2s?
  23. im also looking for some bulbs i looked at the piaa h6m their 25 bucks a piece and the ricky stator ones i want something that shows a white light. do any of you have any of these bulbs if you do are they badass?
