My 2001 Chevy 2500 HD 8.1L Rat Motor(496 ci) LT Package - is the best truck ive ever had... I pull a 1000 gallon water trailer full of water no problem whatsoever, a 27 ft boat, etc. It gets about 10 mpg haulin ass in the city all day, about 12 tops on highway... but its worth every cent, especially with that big block sound coming out of the flowmaster.. $100 bucks is a bit cheap, probably some cheap pistons, rings, etc.. some wisecos will run you about $150, rings , circlips, all of the stuff you need.... check it on ebay.. Eric

I got mine PC'd, my PC shop didnt garauntee the perfection, only a little fo the teflon came out, they are not as tight as they used to be, but its tight enoguh that they wont fall out... I just did it for the meantime, im not going to have them forever... Eric

Get a bench polisher, it will save you alot of time.. 10" is teh best choice.. 150 bucks or so.. Eric

Here are the pics: I definately dont like the way it looks without the plastics right now but ive seen tons of pictures of bimkes where it looks tight, with some billet, soem cad cut designs that cover up the rear, are these mass produced? or should i give my friend a call to make me some? anyone have any ideas on that? and im gonna fab my own grab bar so its not so long.. heres one of the bikes i like without fenders...

LOL .. Dual exhaust isnt recommended for power, they say it holds back too much pressure, which obviously gives less power.. i would get some headers that go to 3" to the muffler and back... the gastank is placed very different for a chevy?? I mean, mine has saddbag gastanks but i have never seen it like that before... I would want to stay away from the tank, who needs dual exhaust anyways?? take it out in front on the rear wheel well.
