  1. Awesome man, i would make a billet clutch cover, that would be awesome - have fun at the new job, i wish i had a job like that! Eric
  2. "I am not an expert on Yamaha ATV Product" Ha, talk much? I think hes from Saudi

  4. lmao man! i just ordered i new one today, oh well Eric
  5. Sounds like you arn't breaking her in properly then eh? Nah, just always had experience with it going up, makes sense though doesnt it? When you first do a comp test before you even start her up, the rings are not seated yet, which means the rings arn't holding compression to their potential yet, after they seat (properly that is) they should infact increase your compression. To each their own opinions, no one can ever agree with eachother when it comes to engines. Eric
  6. What a deal! what condition is it in? how much you want for it shipped? I dotn have any spare stator/flywheel lying around Eric
  7. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Yamaha-YFZ-...129243576QQrdZ1
  8. Are the lines very high pressure?? you cant squeeze them? Also can you feel the cylinders without burnign yourself like an exhaust pipe? The cylinders should not be so hot that its uncomfortable to reach down and feel them every once ina while. Piece of mind for me when im riding around, expecially when your just getting jetted. Keep us updated. Eric
  9. I will have to disagree here, the rings are not seated when not broken in = less compression. Everytime i do a rebuild it goes up 5-10 psi if anything...
  10. -How much the filters are oiled, ones less than the other. -Jetting isnt the same in both -Slides are synced -idles are not synced (airscrews etc..) If you playin around with them, remmeber the smoke isnt a good way of adjusting your carbs, it takes time for you to notice the smoke. Are both cylidners heating up at the same rate?? ie. one sides not hotter than the other. When your warming up feel both pipes, if ones warming up faster than the other i usually fiddle with it til it starts to warm up at the same rate (i'm not a big fan of carb sync kits, i'm WOT most the time and syncing the carbs so they are EXACT isnt needed in my opinion)-Keep that in mind, and keep us updated! Eric
  11. lmao a hacksaw?? I like my shit to be mint so cutting stuff isnt an option, spacers are the best bet, but if he doesnt want to go that route bending the arm will work just fine  EDIT: Arn't most bowl drain plugs hollow-ish? how do you grind them down.... Eric
  12. Ive got em, pro design coolhead studs. Hit me up if you still need them Eric
  13. I say try to tweak the arm first. Then let me know. - i dont like welding the bowls...
  14. Well im not a dad, but my GF hates the banshee also, but she loves to ride it when im not watching?? Girls work in mysterious ways man... Eric
  15. Hows 100 shipped? Eric
  16. Noss heads the way to go, find out what your elevation is, the site http://www.nossmachine.com has a chart that will give you a "ballpark" figure on your compression. More comp= more torque and more stress on your bottom end. With your mods id stick to pump, but thats just me - the guy who spends 115 bucks on 15 gallons of gas. Eric
  17. What kind of carbs? Well, most intakes/spacers do the job, but some dont (including mine), what you need to do is bend the arm down a little bit until it stops hitting. If this still does it i would invest in a new intake or spacers. Some people just weld the left carb bowl closed (no screw) - but its not needed. Eric
  18. Congrats man, you wont be able to keep it stock for long! Just a fact of a Banshee owners life. Cascade Innovations is the place to get your bike looking pretty, although there are many places to get stuff! Im sure you already know, get some pipes and a K&N, and let the fun begin! Just a few links: Cascade Innovations Noss Machine Rocky Mountain ATV Eric
  19. Sometimes i wish i had 20 cc domes these 18s steal the 55 gallon drum at $7.00+/Gal 110 seems a little low to me? but maybe i'm wrong? been so long since a had a stock motor i wouldnt know but 135 sounds good to me... have you ever redone the top end? I would use 20's in your case also. Keep us updated Eric
  20. Yep id be on them in a heartbeat if he had atleast one pic, nice find.
  21. Ahh! how did i miss the thread!! All i need are some new paddle tires and i would have gone Have fun, next trip ill be seein you all there for sure. Eric
  22. Also, make sure you didnt oil the K&N too much (if it wasnt oiled from the factory that is), common problems with alot of filters being too oiled up, doesnt want to run that good - especially idle. Also, on the premix, you dont need any mods to run a different premix, everyone had their preference, if its free take it, just keep in mind it MAY change your stance on jetting (lean it up or richen it up). Eric
  23. weird, ive always ran it in all my bikes, no problems. Oh well  Eric
  24. Dont worry man, still got it. Give me your address ill ship it to you. And ya i got to the salt river, i got so trashed i dont remember (not a good stroy either) Eric
  25. Then you havnt owned a trinity stock cylinder port job!
