DO NOT use that puller. You are risking ruining the flywheel by warping or taking metal chunks off the lips. Get a Banshee flywheel puller before you go any farther. If you already ruined your flywheel its not a bad idea to get a lightened one anyways! :biggrin:
EDIT: If I were you i'd get a clymers manual before you do anyting else, the first time you split the cases it can get overwhelming, unless youve done a 4 stroke motor before then its cake.
Your Shopping list (So Far):
- Clymers
- Flywheel Puller
- YamaBond (If you can still find some, its been discontinued)
- Gaskets/Seals (Crank Seals, Clutch Cover Gasket, etc.) - It's always a good idea to change them all out before reassembly.
