I built a 15ft standard driftboat, is that the kind of boat you are referring to? If you have questions I can help you out. A lot of people dont seem to get the right arch and end up with something that looks more like a used bananna so the first thing you need to do is get ahold of some plans for you ribs, from that point its not to hard. Good Luck

at a ford repair shop? cant get any busier then that!
-
Its a "ford" if you stand there long enough the whole door will fall off then you wont have to worry about keys any more. Just bust out the window, by the time it rains again youll have it in the shop so it wont get all wet.

Just lost my job...along with my support team

Well....................... Fuck! -
ya, I dont want to see a whole video of nothing but 4 strokes, definently need a few 2 strokes thrown in the mix. If I can remember right I think there is a few videos call the crusty demons or something like that that was good. Ill take a look at those that you guys have mentiond and probably pick between one of them. Im leaning more towards Alticity: the sand crusades just because it has sand and quads.

dont tighten them any more then 20ftlbs. You will be suprised at how little they need tightenned. Basically if you were to have your wife or girlfriend tighten them with a small wrench then that would be about right. Good luck.

Hey guys, I need to make an order thru rocky mountain atv and was going to throw in a DVD while Im at it. I looked thru some of them but dont know what is good or bad. I remember one way back when I was in high school that was a killer movie, had a little freestyle, some good dune footage, some cliff jumps, and of course some killer wrecks. If you've seen a good one lately chime in and let me know.

It wont work, your going to get fish eyes all over the thing plus it scratches really easy. You can always take it to a body shop and they can do it for you. I had mine professionally done and its just as durable as a cars finish and looks 10 times better then any plastic you can buy.

ya, funny thing is the CPI business is still running strong, they know they have something good and arent willing to sell it. As you can tell i'd do a fat chick in public

Depending on the size of domes will tell you what kind of gas you need to run. You may be able to do a compression check to see if you can run pump gas or a mix of pump and race fuel. Sounds like you have a good bike, post some pics when you get a chance.

Looking forward to seeing your pics ~~Banshee~~. Welcome to the site, Dont be afraid to post away, gives us something to read everyday.

you have to first ask us the question before we can give you an answer.

do a search, youll find that that flash has been posted before. Either way it was just as dumb as the first time I seen it
-
damn, bike still at the chromers. make sure you do another oregon dune ride this summer when we all have our bikes together.
-
If I were you I would take it apart and list every singel piece on ebay with a starting price of $1 with no reserve. That may be your best bet and you never know, you might make a few grand off of it. Good luck

I heard 06 was the last year for the banshee

YFZ450, just look at what bike finishes ahead in the races.

Bansheefreestyler I commend you on your curiosity and feel that you are just a natural when it comes to ATV's. I believe you may be on to something here. Forget what the rest of these guys think! I mean look at the back end, its only got a axle and no A-Arms at all yet it still has plenty of travel. Personally I think you should go talk to a good welder (not one that knows physics very well) and see if he could help you rig up an axle to the front end. That would be the first step, figuring out the steering is something you can do after you get the frame all hacked up. For now just get rid of those useless A-Arms and get ya a good sturdy axle up front. Heck you may even consider mounting a swing arm up front also for the wheel travel. just turn it around and have you middle school welding buddy tack it to the motor cases. POST PICS WHEN YOU GET IT DONE!

I do know there is a ATV auction yard in Cali. I know a guy that goes down there once a month and buys 3 or 4 Banshees and then brings them back and sells them. From what I understand most of them are repose. Ive never been able to find out where this is at though. wished I could

I cant help you with costs as a lot of PCers charge diferently and I have never had a bike frame done before but I can give you a few prices for things that I have checked up on. A Banshee frame and A Arms cost around $300. Sand blasting for frame and A Arms is $75 Powdercoating for 4 wheel hubs, axle bearing carier, Sprocket star and shock springs would be about $125. All PC prices included sand blasting and prep work. Hope this helps a little.

If your going with the Haulers I would recommend the 9 paddle tire. If you do much dune riding at all (sidehilling, turning, etc) I would highly recommend looking into som ITP sandstars. Oh as far as the buff on the tire, that is just where they ruff it up so its not just smooth rubber. The more the buff the more the roost your going to throw but it also creats a little drag so I would recommend going with the medium or normal buff. Any front tire will work for you fine. I have the top rated sand tire and didnt notice a huge diference between it and any other tire I have ran. Maybe its due to the fact that they dont usually touch the ground. Anyways, just get a good LIGHTWEIGHT front sand tire and you will be fine. Let us know what you decide on.

I'd take a new stock banshee
-
you could also use a magnet like those ones on the end of a screw driver or something to reach down in there and get out any metal shavings.
-
I like medium titties. They are big enough but dont sag. mmmmmmm titties. Oh ITP Sandstars are bitchen tires. I wont run anything else. Whatever you do dont go with a cheap paddle tire though. I have a set of Sand Devils that I couldnt pay someone to take. They are heavy, dont hook up at all and give a horible vibration. Get the Sand Stars!
