personaly i think they should use the same motor they use in the crotch rocket bikes..something like a gsxr motor or come out with something that will compare to the suzuki hayabusa and slap that pig in a banshee frame..i mean hell if those guys can go around a track at 200+ mph why cant we go around a dune or a wash at those speeds the motor is already out there just find a way to put it in a banshee.....that or just go to an old fashion turbine jet engine

i know that the dunes are cleaned once a season at least up at glamis.so im thinking that gordens well ans superstition could use a good old fashion cleaning party..im going to be contacting some waste services in the next few days to see how many dumpsters we can get out to the 2 locations im thinking that this should all happen in 2 stages..on 2 seperate holliday weekends..im thinking that turkey day is close and a major desert holliday i will be trying to get the dumpsters out to gordens well for sure on thanx givin week and im trying to get dumpstres out to superstition maby the week between xmas and new years... please let me know if you have any better ideas for a weekend that could be more productive in this cause and also if the hq members will be there maby we can all get together and do this in the name of the hq

I'LL GO!!!!!!!!! glamis is only 3 hours from me...im in san diego...i go to gordens well every other weekend from oct to may..glamis is only a little farther for me .....im down just tell me the dates and i will be there.....has anyone ever considered a trip to gordens well???????

i want to let everyone know just how discusted i was this weekend when i went out to superstition and there was so much trash out there it was like riding the local dump...there are washers dryers refigerators and mounds and mounds of broken glass and trash...i asked in the general discussion for people to help get involved and help clean our deserts and only 3 people from the east coast were interested..im asking again please let me know if you would show up to help clean places like superstition glamis gordens well and other southern california spots..im willing to contact places like motoworls fmf alba thor and others to help out with prizes food drinks give aways raffles what it takes to get our riding spots cleaned up..i am begging the members of the banshee hq to show up on set weekends to help get it done..please people let me know who will show up to ride for a weekend and help out with this problem of the desert looking like the local garbage dump..if enough people say they will show up i will do everything in my power to get the big name companys to donate all they can to help out with this very important cause..let me know who will be there and i will get the ball rolling to get it done.. . PACK IT IN PACK IT OUT..AND TAKE A BIT MORE OUT THAN YOU TOOK IN

gordens is a great place to ride in for a beginner to dunes..the dunes are very nice in both size and form the flats are great for camping (there are no camp sites just make one for your self) and getting turned around and lost is a great possibility at a place you have never been..gordens has tken care of that problem. at the entrance to the dune buggy flats area (where you will camp) there is a big tower with a strobe light that you can see day or night if you head for the white flashing strobe you will find the camp area..on the other side of the dunes there is a red flashing strobe light..dont go to the red and you will be fine..there are dumpsters and a small over priced store there too..i would say 70-80% of people at gordens are familys with small kids so its more kid friendly than glamis and people watch out for kids in the road more than at most other places so there is no parential fear of the kids getting smacked by a drunk idiot not paying attention......from arizona take 8 west to the exit marked gordens well go right over the freeway then right again on the only road you will see (the store is to the left on that road) just past the dumpsters the road turns to dirt follow it over the canal bridge and find a place to call home for the rest of the trip...

people are trying to kick off roaders in general out dosnt matter if you drive a 4wd jeep a cr 125 or a banshee it all comes down to respecting the land you ride..i own a good size chunk of land with some great riding and a kick ass fishing hole and i wont let anyone ride or fish unless im there..how ever there is one guy that i will let hunt fish ride or camp if he wants and the only reason is that i went to kick him out of the fishing hole and he had 2 kids with him i noticed that each one of them had a bag about half full of trash that they collected and were taking off my land..that ment alot to me that this man had told his 2 sons that b4 they could fish they had to do some cleaning up around the pond..like some one said b4 its amazing what land owners will do if they get the respect they want..in my case i hate litter bugs and the only reason this guy is using my land is because he awlys takes out more than he brings in.

he is the one that should have know wha piston to order if he did the work on the bike..what would he do if he was the one putting the bike back together? he would have to re order the correct parts..you are 110%in the right by demanding that he replaces the parts with the correct ones..you have every right to get the correct parts that you need if he messed up the order...you can use places like better business beauro (bbb) or a lawyer you can contact weisco to inform them of this and that they have a wiesco distributer ripping off customers there is a world of options out there...i would first go to this guy and tell him that if he dosnt take action to fix the prablem that you will take action to make sure he does..leagaly he has to fix it if he ordered the wrong part..any small claims judge will be on your side..and let him know that

i have to say that im discusted with what i found this weekend out at superstition..trash loads and loads of trash..there was so much shit at the sand fingers at superstition that they were almost unridable..this is rediculious people why are there washers and refridgerators in the desert??? why is there so much broken glass you cant ride why are people so lazy they do this to our riding spots..it almost makes me want to sell my bike and become one of these yuppie assholes that are closing spots and trying to get these offroaders out of the deserts.. YOU ARE GIVING THESE ASSHOLES MORE AND MORE REASON TO CLOSE OUR DESERTS BY LEAVING THIS MUCH SHIT OUT IN THE DESERTS!!! now im thinking of puting together some desert clean up events. im going to ask the banshee hq members for support i want to know how many people would actualy show up to places like superstition, glamis, gordenswell, ocotillo and other places to help clean them up on a specific weekend..im going to try to get some big name places like motoworld, alba fmf thor all kinds of major industry mogals to help sponsor these events with free gear food drinks and maby if we can get enough people together im going to try to talk motoworld into selling raffle tickets to raffle off a brand new 2005 banshee..(im not sure how that would work yet but im working on it) so anyway i want to know what the HQ MEMBERS THINK and who would be willing to get out and help keep our deserts clean. please people lets get together and make a difference PACK IT IN PACK IT OUT AND YOU WILL ENJOY PLACES TO RIDE FOR YEARS TO COME..PACK IT IN AND LEAVE IT THERE YOU WILL ENJOY PLACES TO RIDE FOR THE DAY BUT NEXT TIME YOU GO THERE IT WILL BE CLOSED OR SO TRASHED YOU CANT RIDE..TAKE THE TIM E TO CLEAN UP THE DESERT AND LEAVE IT CLEAN FOR THE KIDS WE RAISE TODAY SEE OUR WAYS AND FOLLOW OUR LEAD..THINK OF THE DESERT FOR THEIR KIDS

ok for starters if im running from cops on a banshee im going to head for an area that the car wont be able to go..and second if my so called friend rats me out when he gets caught then he is no longer a friend and will be eating through a straw for quite a long time. and everyone that knew him would know that he is a rat and not to be trusted

ok im sorry ..i used cheap and performance in the same sentance for a banshee...im planning on a set of fmf pipes and a jet kit..but above and beonde that is waht i was looking for? how hard is it to put the heads on? can i do it in the garage or do i need to have it done by a shop? and can i still use stock pistons if i do put heads in? and what heads are recomended?and as for tires i ride 99% sand so i have a nice set of paddles and front razors..but what about sprockets can changing them help? and how much?

ok my banshee is still bone stock..(keep in mind its an 04 and has maby 40 hrs on it) i want to get more low end and more top end out of it..i ride 99% sand dunes and can already pull every hill in the desert but i want a bit more climbing torque and flat out speed...the problem is the budget..im limited on funds at this point..any ideas that may help me get whqt im lookin for cheap??

try going to a D.E.A auction or something you can get cars trucks boats banshee's realy cheap...i got a 2002 ford f350 4 door 4 wd long bed with a 4 inch lift and a sweet sound systom for $2,800...keep an eye out for acuctions like that...once i a while you get hooked up

ive riden that track.....the long down hill is smoken on a quad, hold on tight and dial in your suspension, gear yer bike tall, its brutal on a 2 wheeler, let alone yer shee, rickey johnson was the last guy i saw make that track look easy, its a fast, wild ride dude....good luck

i was wanting to know if there is a bike out there or if there is something in the works to get that banshee comfort in the 4 stroke bike..every 4 stroke i have seen it feels like the seat is off or something like you are riding up to high and half way overr the bars already...where as the banshee its seating is more of a down in the frame seating possition...is there anything that feels like the banshee comming out soon or already out???

btw... i had that 250 clocked at 103mph...and that was in 98...the shee would kill it now with proper mods

a built up 1986 honda 250r three wheeler...mine used to be able to smoke the banshee...but then again i had thousands into it and at the time i was in my early to late teens and weighed like 145...i still have that bike but its getting too hard to find parts so im a banshee man now
