my friend has a scraptor and that things broke all the time, but I will say hes a little hard on it cuz he dident pay for it.and as for that raptors not being good for drags.. there was a raptor out at little sahara that was beating banshee's left and right i own a raptor, mines never breaks down. and i bet that raptor had about 20k put into it, i was refering to recreational riding raptors. thats so true. i need to save some money for a new clutch already . i mean i can still start my raptor but the clutch is shiet.

250r's were manufactured from 1986-1989, the only way you will find those are used. you can go to http://www.cycletrader.com and look for some, they have plenty there. as for the raptor, they are pretty reliable. raptors aren't to good in the sand (for dragging), they dont have that wheel rotation you need like the banshees, but they are the best in the dirt. as for the snow raptors should do pretty good, i never rode in the snow yet. i would prefer a yfz450 over a raptor if your talking 4 stroke, but definately a banshee over anything.

pj's are like the first series keihin came out with, oval slide valves. pwk's are the updated series , and the ones you should get.

if you plan on gettin a mild port, get some toomey t5's, they are more of a top end pipe so they are for dunes i'd say.

you can get a TORS removal kit from Vitos ( http://www.vitosperformance.net ) or Toomey ( http://www.toomey.com ). i suggest you remove asap.

i got a HJC helmet. dont really know what a "good" helmet is, unless your just into the looks. all i can say is if it fits your head nicely then get it, and thats why you should go to a store and purchase one, so you know how it fits.

i got a question. how did you get some t5's for FREE ?

im on this one site that has some fattys for $280, problem is there is 2 of them and they have no pictures of them. one is called FMF Gold Series Fatty Pipes (Gnarley) Y-45, other is called FMF Gold Series Fatty Pipes (Torque) Y-44. Is the Torque Pipe the fatty pipe as we know it? im just trying to make sure before i get somthin other than what i intended.

For trails, I'd get some ptr mids....Next in line would be some fmf sst's, then dmc or Bills. Stay away from pc, toomey, trinity, cpi or other high rev pipes. They won't work as great on trails and you'll be clutching it a lot more. what would be some good all around pipes. I do sand dunes, trails, and dirt. I was thinking some FMF Fattys.

i seen a problem like this in another topic. dont mix your gas, unleaded and leaded gas arent susposed to be mixed. 19cc domes requre 110+ octane gas. im not sure if thats the problem but u should try it.

for a fact, i know that having your flywheel lightened makes your banshee rev faster and gives u quicker throttle response, but doesnt it also take away from your low rpm torque?
