I've owned a set of PT hi rev's and loved them on my stock bike. I rode my buddies bike with t6's and didn't really like them compared to mine with the PT's. They have a real smooth powerband and still have some low-mid end, so just imagine how the PT mid's work.
Man what can I say GRADE A service. Purchased some carbs from him on Aug 28th last Friday, sent my payment , and he shipped out the same day! Received them yesterday Aug 31st, monday! great guy! highly recommended
mine is a stock pressure plate and I lined the arrow's up. its like ridiculously hard to pull my clutch lever in, im thinking it will effect while im shifting in a drag race that's why I want to fix it
440 mains too big on a stroker? that sounds odd. or is it the fact that he doesnt have any porting done? My buddy is running a 440 main in his banshee and all he has is a dune port and lrds with stock carbs and his bike runs pretty okay... well sometimes... not trying to thread jack or anything just putting in my .2 cents
Installed my new clutch and my lever is stiff as shit. Running 3hd springs and 3 stock ones. I have a asv shorty lever. My bike is a 2000 so I'm guessing the cable has got to be pretty old. Who sells good cables? I would get motion pro but aren't they just a stock replacement? Who makes stainlesss steel cables?
Hey guys this is a real close friend of mine! he just doesn't have a chance to be on the forums a lot but he is legit as can be!!! trust me!!! I been knowing him all my life!!!
its funny you guys are talking with big font and colors like this
no but seriously, trade for the cpi's. If you are Street/Drag/Desert riding, you want mid to top power
This is what my uncles stock bike had with fatty's:
280/290 mains
DJ needle middle clip
2.5 turns out on air screw
stock pilot
if you have a hesitation off idle play with your air screws, turn them inward. If that doesn't help bump up the pilot like Rodneya said to 27.5
Those are IMS pegs and IMS heel guards. The Heel Guards are discontinued and so are the chrome pegs.
here's my 2 best pics of my POS lol, I will post some when its done getting rebuild as well
My buddy actually runs the LRD RFX pipes and he loves them. He switched over to them from T5's on his dune ported banshee. His bike runs real good out in the dunes, with his porting its mostly upper RPM power.
not to jack your thread or anything but dont they make aftermarket silencers for the shearers? that are spark arrested and lower the DB's as well? because i know some dunes have a low DB requirement.
