A banshee with fmf pipes makes about 95 decibles. My buddie had his banshee tested at sandlake last summer and it hit like 104 i thnik. he had toomeys though.

Just go big and get and ls1 or a northstar v8. or break out the big bucks for twin turbos!!

I dont know how much good this is going to do you seeing that your in Texas, but a buddie of mine is selling his sand/drag banshee. Its a 99, 392 stroker on alky. 36mm lectron carbs. everything polished or chromed-everything. 22 ultra lite paddles on back, smooth buffs in front. 8 over swingarm. cpi inframe drag pipes, unstamped.chrome works shocks all around paried with chrome a-arms. blue candy frame with white fullbore fronts, cut rear plastic. asking 8500 obo, wont ship. If your looking on ebay, i think i saw the black A&S drag bike on there.

some elka or at least works shocks in front. I too agree with cabin boy thoug. Add an extra cylinder and make sure its a 350

get a 660 grizzley with some 27 inch meats and a lift kit on it, almost unstoppable.

Well a buddie of mine is sick and tired of his banshee and its problems. its a 392 stroker on alky. 8 over swingarm drag pipes and haulers. ever since he went from gas to alky its ran like shit and he just wants a new bike, so he told me 1500 and its mine. sounds like a pretty good price but im sure the motor is on its last leg, or at least needs alot of new shit to run good. Im debating weather on not to buy it. what do you guys think. if i bought it, i would for sure put it back on race gas, but how much $$ do you guys think im lookin at to put into the motor to get it reliable again?

Im not trying to get a war against me going or anything. But if your over 18 in Oregon you are allowed to choose to wear a helmet or not. I for one choose not to. Not because i think its the cool thing to do or anything, i just love the feeling of being on the open dunes, with the sun on my face, and im very confedent in my riding ablities. ive been on dirtbikes and quads since i was 4. Im not saying im the best rider ever, but i can handle myself pretty well. Ive heard it a million times to wear your helmet and i know its the best thing to do, but i choose to make my own decison, and maybe it will catch up to me sooner or later, but i guess thats a chance im taking. And by no means am i sticking up for people riding without a helmet, i dont mean that at all. Its very unfortunate what happend to those kids and my prayers go out to their familes.

there isnt really a deep sounding two stroke pipe.....if you want deep get a damn 4 stroke. why would you want a deep sound on a two stroke anyway, i love the pinging sound of my t-5s. you can hear it a mile away, sounds like a swarm of pissed off bees.

i kinda agree with blue duce. im 6'4 and im only 230. i cant imagne what 5.9 and 240 is. seriously that is crazy. i was a little bigger when i was like 11, 12, 13 years old and i know how hard it is to be big, but in middle school i did wrestling and football all the way though highschool, join some sports, go riding, do anything but get some exercise.

i dunno about fattys, but my buddie has gnarly pipes and put t-5 silencers on and they fit right up. god rid of his ugly ass fmf silencers.

if you do 90% dunes, go with toomeys or cpis. fmfs would be ok, but god there silencers are ugly.

i know rockets are a sweet pipe, and they look awesome too, but do you know if any other silencers work for them? like maybe some toomey or cpi silencers?

if your gonna use it for dunes buy a set of t-5s cpi inframes or rocket pipes, dont go put some damn fmfs on there. and if you have the paul turner high revs, just keep em, there an awesome pipe.
