The clear hoses from Home Depot aren't a great solution. They are not really designed to run in the right temp. rang so when they get hot they will get soft, which causes the clamps not to hold them on very well. A better deal is not get some industrial food service grade hose from Grainger, MSC, Mcmaster Carr, etc.............. They are the same price as Home Depot and they are the proper hose for the job.

That's pretty reasonable for a pump gas stock cylinder............. Now you need an aftermarket cylinder block. :thumbsup:

You make them as short as possible. They are generally too long for the application, and the capacitor in them limits how short you can make them.

What's the prize? (I'm sure I don't actually want to know) Like I said before, I never really had a problem with BigRed. I think alot of the stuff he said was exaggerated in one way or another....... Gregrob on the other hand, has not come up with much on here that is accurate or helpful.

Mike is a great source of information! I am not sure what type of intake you have. If it's aftermaket and uses a Mikuni part numbered boot, then the answer is no. If it's OEM or something else then the answer is yes. :geek:
