  1. this is post 4,000. and my shee probably has about 40% the horsepower yours does, so that equates.
  2. center punch and a sharp drill. a drill press with a vise would be good, and a 3 axis mill with an edge finder would be prime.
  3. i question your matters. if just the jugs were off the case would be sperated. then the oil he poured in would have been burned or have flowed out the exhaust port. if its coming out the overflow id say you have positive case pressure, duh. but thats not right. figure out why pressure is building inside the case to force the oil out.
  4. i think the MOST discriminated AGAINST person in america is the white male. this proves it.
  5. I'd MIG it. still fairly pretty and they strength isnt an issue since yamaha alloys their frames with chinese newspapers. but if you were to graft one frame half to another id think all youd need would be a welder, varying saws, and possibly a bender for reinforcing. but you could skip on te bender if you used .125" plate, instead of round tube. i dont see it being that hard, but if you were to start from scratch it would be a different story.
  6. what does it do for the ride height of your seat though? that travel has to come from somewhere. but you said it was positive travel so does the rear stay the same height and the swinger just tucks up into the frame better? post some pics, i wanna see this.
  7. i have used them with good luck. about the no ball bearings thing. they have to use needle bearings. look at the dimensions you are working with. BB's are good for tall narrow bearing races, not the short wide and thin races needed in a linkage.
  8. if you have a large bottle of aleve how comfortable are the on your eyes?
  9. can you elaborate on that please? it sounds like something i may just be dumb enough to try.
  10. real fuckin tight.
  11. racer

    why ?

here, shuffle through the first portion of this topic. http://www.bansheehq.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=58355
  12. just call fox or king and order a new 2.5 resi for a truck, or would that be overkill? cause it sure would be cheaper.
  13. that caught my eye. can a shee have a true lt rear? will the frame allow it? lol.
  14. back off the jam nuts then unthread them?
  15. haha, overkill huh?
  16. you all have waaaaay too much time on your hands.
  17. i think the spacer goes between the cylinder and the reed.
  18. just search on here. its been covered a bunch of times. once you find a thread that suits your needs email the hyperlink to your dad and BAM!
  19. id eat 3 valium, and drink 6 beers. youll be relaxed.
  20. no shit?
  21. id have never left the powder shop if i wasnt happy with my frame. when i had mine done guy at the counter made me visually inspect it so they could make corrections immediately. id say take it back.
  22. with a sawzall, a lincoln, and some spare stock, you can make anything fit anywhere.
  23. im not sure about that. just be REAL FUCKIN CAREFUL. lol. seriously.
  24. it should be. the best way i can think of doing it with out removing the engine from the frame is to lift the quad vetically so the chips fall directly to the floor when drilling and tapping.
  25. just flip the quad on its side and you should be fine to drill/tap for your insert. but once youre done and happy with the way it works run a few quarts of cheap oil through the case to clean out the chips from the tap.
