  1. Brad, how old are you? Hows the new 4mill cub motor running?
  2. No you did right...like you said some guy probably still owes money on it. If the shoe were on the other foot, you'd appreciate it(not that you would leave your quad, I would have pushed it) What broke on your shee?
  3. WOW, was that on Halloween weekend? I was out there, did it happen @ night? At the drags? It gets crazy on busy weekends. I hate hearing stories like these, I'm sorry to here about your friend Darren at LS.
  4. They are excellent arms, they cost right around 600$ though, you are better off waiting a little and saving up a little more. I think for around 550$ to 600$ you can have a wider selection of quality a arms.
  5. I would take out the slides, and feel the throats of the carbs to make sure nothing is hanging up that slide. When the TORS was removed, the idle screw holes were drilled. The inside of the carbs should have been sanded down a little with very fine grit sand paper..on the inside of that idle screw hole(where it was drilled and tapped) While out clean the slides and carbs real good and lightly oil the slides with premix oil. Try checking your adjustment again on the carb top/throttle cable, and as mentioned grease the cable. Don't know if you already did these things just my suggestion.
  6. What kind of a deal did Rocketpig give you?
  7. thanks for the replies
  8. For you guys that have both or experienced both, which bike is the better duner? I plan on adding another bike(not getting rid of the banshee)My banshee currently has full suspension(arms shocks...etc)T-5's, reeds, and geared lower, plan on building up the motor next. I only ride at the dunes, and am thinking if that 7000$ ('06 yfz)price tag is worth it.
  9. Hopefully when the TORS removal kit was installed , enough material was filed off of the idle screw bosses( where the hole for those brass screws were drilled and tapped) When you loosen up that nut, and turn the screws in clockwise, they should lift up the slides a little to get an idle.
  10. Did you do the plug check correctly,(not trying to offend)at high speed for a few seconds, kill the power and coast to a stop?
  11. I thought I would ask you married guys which bike would better suit the lady. I was looking for low maintenance excellent reliability. I was thinking a honda 400x(4900$ out the door price...'05) or the Z400. I'm looking to save a little $, and I don't think she'll handle the Banshee too well. Blaster? Iwant her to be able to keep up with me somewhat, and be pretty comfy(we only ride in the dunes)
  12. Like a couple of the other guys said, you need to disconnect the tors at the box, but also at the parking brake connection(near the steering stem) if this isn't disconnected, you won't be able to go above idle.
  13. Sounds like the main jet is too small. If you're pinning the throttle, and it is popping, you are lean, go up a couple sizes on the main and do a plug check.
  14. Thanks for the info gentleman, I'll just wait a little...and locate some new ones.(Trail techs)
  15. Just wondering what is better? The Trail techs are priced alot better, but RMATV, and every local shop out here in AZ have the stock mount lights on back order. I can get a set of Lazer stars...stock mount for 159$, worth it?
  16. Bansh88, where do you like to camp at Gordon's?
  17. thats true...finding camp at night at Gordon's well is a challenge on big weekends, and Test hill is crazy at night
  18. Halloween.
  19. I got one too, and just deleted it, but thanks for the heads up
  20. The only problem with those, is they are not +1 up front as well(which you want) Only get arms that are +2+1.
  21. Thanks for the info
  22. Oh no, not that
  23. Sorry to hear that, Todd told me 7 days for the rebuild, and I received it on time.
