  1. Can't we all just get along? When I get my TATUM car, I'll take you for a ride in it :baseball_bat:
  2. Thats a perfect description...I'm originally from SD, so I know what your'e talkin about. FLATBILLERS
  3. TATUM...built here in AZ, very pricey though...like bansh88 said CA to AZ are the best builders. Those things are awesome...wish I could get one(I won't take a second out on the house for it) Bansh88...what's a flat biller?
  4. Use a drill press. level, and secure the carb on the table of the drill press, lube with wd40 or all purpose oil while drilling and most importantly tapping(3 turns in then back out the tap clean threads, relube etc.) Shave the bosses level, (with a mill file)then take a little more off(just a little) so the idle screw makes good contact with the slide and lifts it up. Follow the directions in the kit carefully, and make all your adjustments after installation(sync the carbs, set the idle) Also after drilling and tapping wash the carbs out and blow em out with compressed air. If you need directions, go to Toomey's web site under tech installations, idle kit.
  5. As previously stated, RMATV has a warranty on these axles. I bought one, and ride in the dunes all the time. Fit and finish is good, install was easy(directions are ok)...this axle is also for the raptor and blaster, so there is an extra spacer that you will not use.It comes with 4 little spacers, that go on the ends( 1 or 2 per side, depending on the desired width) And then There are two large spacers hollowed out on one side(to house the cir clips)...only use the one on the brake hub side, the axle nut houses the c clip on the sprocket side. So far so good, I don't get 20 feet of air, so I don't know the limits of this axle, but for hard duning and draggin up the hill it works great.200$
  6. Very good point...half of these "Americans" refuse to lower their standards and work non skilled jobs. Hey, go to school, learn a trade... get off your lazy ass and do something or don't complain about working at Walmart. These people blame the illegals and everyone else for their stupidity. I also believe the borders should be closed.
  7. Sorry, I'll have to finally get to it, It looks pretty sharp though, kinda like the Duncan model. It's polished aluminum. You from hawaii? I was born at Trippler hospital on Honalulu
  8. I paid about 70 or 80 dollars for that Tag bumper...very nice looking bumper, had to tweak it a little to mount up though.
  9. Also as suggested, use a tape measurer, and measure from inside edge to inside edge on the front side of the tires, and then do the same for the rear side of the front tires. The front side should be 1/4" to 1/2" less than the rear measurement. Make sure to measure on the same plane of the tires. To adjust, turn the tie rods in or out, to move the toe in or out. Just loosen up those nuts, then turn the tierods. Make sure to make the same amount of turns on each tie rod for best adjustment.
  10. I set mine 1/4"(1/8" of an inch on each side) Helps stability at higher speeds.
  11. I saw that as well...cool stuff Thats the one with the shootout between the new raptor and the new yfz. How was that hill?
  12. AS stated above go with an X ring chain or O ring chain. I use the DID X ring chain. Much heavier duty than the cheapy non o ring DID chain I used before. I only ride in the dunes so I thought sand would get into everything, so the chain did'nt matter. Like Duc man said the non ring chains stretch all the time and don't last as long.
  13. Rockymountain atv...Primary drive sprockets are inexpensive, and seem to hold up well. I use the DID X ring chain. The cheap ones wear out faster and keep stretching, go with a better chain.
  14. AS stated above, just cut flush, so the surface is even for the gasket, the washers just make an easier guide to follow when cutting. It leaves just enough area for a hacksaw blade to fit in.
  15. WOW...can I borrow that bike? I weigh about the same I never ran long travel, but Laeger and Elkas( I do have those) is going to be a good setup.
  16. Yes they are good...one of the original manufacturer's(lonestar as well) Also if you have not already bought them, JD performance are excellent arms, and cheaper. The guy who use to weld frames and arms for laeger started this company. Either way both are good arms.

    4mm Cub

I heard of problems with the hot rod cranks used on 4mill setups...true? Did your builder fix that possible problem?

Odaen, what length swingarm are you running? And what is your gearing at?
  19. I had to change 3 off those little studs. They all stripped out on me. Last sprocket change I used blue locktite, and torqueded accordingly. Well I had to cut the studs behind the nut, and back them out of the hub. This time I just tightened them down real good, with no locktite. Seems to be holding up good.
  20. Ogilbe(gordons well/patton valley) right after Thanksgiving day.
