  1. No remove all the tors junk, tors is only for stock carbs, if you're buying the 2 in 1 setup, you won't need anything for the tors.
  2. Lonestar, Laeger,Alba's procomp arms, rickystator's, those companies use the better ball joints with the proper taper on 'em(no reaming of the spindles) I know there are probably others, Gary at Quicksand can make your arms with ball joints(from all balls) as well.
  3. Go to ELKASUSPENSION.COM, look at the recreational series, they come triple or dual rate. The dune shocks I'm sure offer the same. For 450$, i would think those are dual rates.
  4. When does it sputter? @ idle? You can run those tops the way they are for now. Like stated above disconnect all connections, from the tors black box, carbs, there is also one to the parking brake located around the steering stem. Removal of those tors carb tops just makes jetting changes alot easier, and cleans up the bike alot.
  5. Sanddragon, who manufactures those arms? Thinking still on which ones to go with.
  6. KInda weird they would install the idle screws, and leave the tors tops on. Anyways, you only need new carb tops, and throttle cable. I would make sure those idle screws are functioning properly first. AS you screw those idle screws in make sure they lift the slides smoothly.
  7. Actually Elka does offer dual rate shocks for the front. Their rec shocks or dune edition shocks come dual rate I believe, and are about 450$ a pair, check out their web site...
  8. YOU can do that in the mean time, but it will ride stiff on stock length arms
  9. Just as everyone is telling you...the idle screw bosses(where you will drill)are located on the outside of each carb(left side on left carb, right side on right carb) a drill press with carb chucked up or supported would be best. Take your time, use lots of cutting oil while you are tapping. Also file the bosses down past flat as previously stated, Toomey does have detailed instructions on their site...toomey.com. LOok under the tech documents menu, and it is listed in the "motion pro thumb throttle kit" Also after drilling make sure to de-burr inside of the carbs where the hole exits, so the slides will not stick.
  10. first off, how old is this girl? you have been with her for over a year, and she's out sniff'in around? did she tell you what happened, or did she get caught? It's pretty straight forward, like others have said...she wants her cake& eat it too.Cotton eye joe nailed it right on the head. Please don't let this girl walk all over you, keep your pride intact.
  11. RNBRAD...you had me going, always a jokester
  12. Very funny, sweet revenge for the male gender
  13. RN BRAD... where was that link on setting up a arms?
  14. I'm with RNBRAD, if a couple of these F'N Mexican nationals get wasted, the others will think twice, they see americans as easy targets, fuck em. I grew up in southern california, and now live in Arizona, so I know how SOME not all of these illegals operate.
  15. Anyone have armadillo a arms?
  16. Get a 120 link chain, and cut it accordingly, maybe 3 to 5 links need to come off...just measure it first.
  17. Looking into getting some +2 a arms, from what i'm hearing it is a big difference in the dunes. My question is ...will I need an upgraded steering stem as well? At high speeds will the stock stem be insufficient?(this addiction is killing me)
  18. I paid 345$...that included new seals, re-valving, and an eibach spring. The service was quick, he'll tell you a rough time frame on delivery. The new shock worked like a charm. Check out the TCS website
  19. Just like eveyone is saying...a superior product. I sent my rear shock to Todd at TCS for a rebuild. I received the shock back one week later after sending it...just as Todd said. I tried out the new shock this past weekend at the dunes, and noticed a huge difference. The price is right and the product is excellent
  20. Go to prison...run with the shot callers, and earn your stripes just kiddin man
  21. Congrats You'll be really protective over your little girl
  22. Forgot to mention...it is the same kit Toomey offers but for 6 or 7 bucks less,53.99 don't know how much at magicracing
  23. Iceman, go to the home page of RMATV's site. Type in the part#01315, in the parts# search box to the far left. It will bring up the" Banshee thumb throttle kit"...everything needed is there, but a drillpress and tap handle, and 3 in 1 oil.(or other good cutting oil)
  24. Rockey Mountain Atv, has a web site. Primary gear sprockets are very inexpensive, and hold up well. I just run a DID chain (non-o ring) for the sand and replace it every season. It is an inexpensive chain thats good, I only run in the sand. I know some will reccomend an o ring or x ring chain, but that sand gets in everything. You'll need a chain with 120 links, and then need to cut it to fit your swingarm. I think 3 to 4 links will need to be removed.
