Well this winter when i do the teardown im getting some motorwork done. My question is who does the best porting? I need to get the crank welded and trued at the same time. Do most companies that port do that to? Sorry for being such a newbie. By the way if you have links to websites post em up.

I am in the same situation. One of my childhood friends bought a bike this spring. Honestly i dont think he will make it to winter, never wears a helmet and rides like a idiot. He has had 5 cars, all of which he crashed. Hell the crazy bastard rolled 2 cars in as many weeks last summer. He let me take it for a ride and the first thing i did was go for my helmet..... Bet i looked pretty goofy wearing my ATV hat on a street bike

I am not bias one way or the other. I own both a 2 and 4 stroke. Both of which have their pro's and con's. I love my raptor on the woods, But get me on the dunes and i am dying to ride the shee. The 4 storkes are more user friendly, so when i take one of my less expeirenced friends with me they usually get to ride the raptor. Then as someone else had said, they complain about the shee when riding it because they cant keep it in the powerband, and are then amazed when i ride the piss out of it and blow by them

when people use starting fluid on their 2 strokes... bad enough for a 4 stroke, but damn, are ya dumb or what. People that start their bike and imediatly start reving the piss out of it When you are supposed to meet someone to go riding and when you get there, they arent, so you call em like wtf? and they say "oh yea sorry i was gonna call you but" Stupid kids that think their blasters are the fastest thing on wheels

im interested in this too. I want a +4 key, shaved head, and a mild / dune port. Is this safe to do on a stock crank and rod? I know alot of guys have them trued and welded to withstand the extra HP or whatnot. But id rather not split my cases. AS for the trueing... if i have to do it should i send it somewhere or could i take it to a local hot rod shop. Would they know what, where to weld it? i tore the honda a new one more than 5 times I killed everyone off the line and pulled away from all stock machine ( not yfz ) beat tons of crapters with pipes and stuff ok so i know im gonna get bashed for sayign this, but your stock shee cant beat a piped rapor. At least not if its running right and has a good rider on the seat
