Yes, you are right but they used the Bluray for size not for the quality. What I read, back when I was deciding if I should wait or to get the 360 was that the PS3 needed the size but that it doesn't necessarily mean the quality will be on par with the blue ray movie. Maybe that has changed, I'm not sure. I'm not into all the technical specs on all this stuff. Also I thought GTA IV was coming out on Xbox 360 at the same time or before PS3 does anybody know if that's still the case?
-
Yes, we used components on both TV's but my TV is not one that you can buy at your local store it was the top of the line Sony Wega with every feature imaginable even built in subs in the back, Never even seen one at a Best Buy, the picture is way better than any other normal TV I've seen. I don't have cable or a dish so HD isn't worth the money. The thing you have to remember (atleast what I read) about the PS3 and even the Xbox 360 with the HD drives is that the games are not Blue Ray or HD only the movies are unless that's changed.

I can't tell the difference between my 360 hooked up to my composite input tv and my buds high def. I'll keep using the 360 until it get's me bored then I'll pick up a PS3 later.

Child tax credit is $1000 per child, not the same.

I found a little list of quotes to help you figure out who needs to be held accountable.
-
OK then, you're just ignorant, government revenue is up because of the refund. People don't put money in a jar in there back yard anymore. You get an extra $2000 you more than likely spend that extra $2000 and the government gets their x% of that $2000. The place you purchased the widget from will more than likely add another employee to handle the additional sales they get, the government takes their xx% of their salary but that person makes more money working than not and spends it on a widget and so on and so forth. Just because you get an extra $2000 doesn't mean that the government doesn't still get theirs. Back to accountability, you are still missing my point. You've been sold a slogan and you don't know what it even means. What exactly is going to happen if the dems hold Bush accountable for the war in Iraq? Side note: I admire your work ethic, willing to work 14 more days. Where I work we don't have a magical calendar stretcher, I sure wouldn't give up vacation time to work.

Keep complaining it's helping our country so much. Oil is a world market not a US market as much as you'd like to think it is. What's your solution genius?
-
If Republicans are running the worlds oil industry why don't they just make oil prices $0.10 plus applicable taxes so that the middle east couldn't afford to fight us? It seems completely logical {sarcasm} that the minority oil producing country should be in charge of everybody else's oil. Maybe a mild winter and people who have changed their driving habits made a slight difference on the prices? Maybe political instability around the world has remained in check which decreases the pressure on oil?
-
Typical liberal response... Accountability is not a solution. Accountability just makes liberals feel good about themselves because they can say it was somebody elses fault. Where does that get us? It's a 2 steps forward 3 back type of system. What we need is solutions to problems. You also gave no response on my question about taxes.
-
:yelrotflmao: :yelrotflmao: :yelrotflmao: I laugh everytime somebody asks for acountability, what a slogan. Accountability is a meaningless term because it will never be followed by action. Anybody know what day Bush's tax cuts sunset? That day means about $2000 less dollars in the average household. That would have built a decent cub motor.

Bush isn't our problem. Our problem is our people and our representatives that won't stand behind him. If we had a country that would have stood strong and stood together we'd be a lot better off. We've spent the last 4 years arguing with each other. The USA needs to want the victory as bad as Bush does and if you think they do you are dead wrong. There's people who can't wait for the death toll to reach 4000+ just so they can say Bush was wrong. We are there and there's no stopping them without victory.
-
Well my predictions were wrong. This election should set the republicans up for the Presidency in '08 though. Now instead of the Republicans fighting against themselves all the time they can fight against some democrats. Can't wait for my taxes to go up. :: I'm also curious to see how the media deals with things like the war and the economy in the future. I'm guessing it won't take long to turn pessimism to optimism.

Sounds like Republican strategery to me

I voted a couple weeks ago. I'd be surprised if the dems take either majority. The reps will lose seats but I think there will be some surprises. I think dems are too lazy to vote and nothing motivates the Republicans like the risk of a Democrat getting elected. I think the polls saying dems are in the lead were part of the plan for rep elections.
-
So what does everybody think is going to happen next week?

Hey HD are you dressing up as the thing that scares you the most tonight? You know... Jesus?
