Look into the olympus cams. Get a good 4 megapixle cam with at least a 3x Optical zoom. digi zoom sucks so dont buy a camera based on digital zoom. Also try and get a cam with a bigger lens, the cams with small lenses dont produce images that are on par with cams with bigger lenses. More light in equals better pics. I have had my olympus 3.34 MP cam for 4 years now, and its never failed me. i still love that cam!

if you want to fly join the AIR FORCE! Yeah go do ROTC or get your degree and get your comission, then go to pilot training. Either that or go enlisted for 4 years, get your shit paid for by the Air Force, and once you are in, there are a ton of ways to get commisioned. And also if you are prior enlisted you get paid more!!

I guess the most important aspect is that once you upload your video it will be a big AVI or MPEG file. If you have a choice, capture in AVI (uncompressed, better quality) then Import the Video into Windows movie maker. Once you are done editing, save the completed time line and export to Video by Saving to your computer, and selecting "high Quality-Small" that should work for ya! you would get slightly better end product using S-video if your capture card allows you to use it You would probably be better off going with a Camcorder that is Digital8 or MiniDV, then you dont have to use a capture card at all since its already Digital. Anyway, if your card captures at the smaller frame size, you have a smaller amount of Information to compress, so the results will not be great, but still should be able to produce something similar to what you see on my vids. Anyway, the settings on my Vids are Encoded with WMV(Windows Media Video) codec, which should be included with your Windows Movie maker with a bitrate of about 700,000 bits and a 320X240 frame size or Adobe MPEG codec with a frame size of 320X240 to keep the size down Just checked windows movie maker...you can export in the WMV format, just use "high quality video Small" which is under the menu when you click on "finish movie" save to my computer. Also you can capture with your card/software, then Import it into Windows Movie maker. Its hard explaining this on a forum! but it will work, and you will get decent results, just takes some time messing with it-trust me!

Well first of all, Do you have a DV cam, or is it HI8? If you have a DV cam just use a FireWire port/card to capture your video. Seeing as though you are saying you are capturing with a Card (dazzle) it tells me that you have an older non DV cam. Anyway, RAW DV footage in the DV-AVI format takes up 13GB per hour of footage. Your dazzle card probably only captures at like 380X240 instead of the full size of 720X480. Anyway, i use Adobe Primere for capture and editing, and final conversion to MPEG. TMPGEnc makes a very good MPEG encoder, and Windows Movie maker works quite nicely for a free program. A Decent compression ratio would be about 2 to 1 with a bitrate of 705,000 Check out the 2 vids i have on quicksand Vids If you want to know the exact settings for those vids let me know.

It all depends on where you live as well. I had a ZX-7 at 18 years old and was paying about 800/year full coverage, moved to england (im in the USAF) and got full coverage on a 98 CBR600F3 thru USAA for $17.00 per month full coverage.....i couldnt believe it either!

Just wanted to say that i did the kickstarter mod today with the .25 Ball bearing and new springs! There was no big spring in mine so that explains the HORRIBLE rattle, but she is nice and quite now! also went to Ace hardware and got all Stainless fasteners for the plastics, and stator cover. Set my advanced timing back to stock at the stator plate so i can use my dyna ignition and play around with the settings!
