well i did a search and didnt really turn up with much, some guys like it some dont'. if i can get my stock carbs bored out (taper or straight bore whats the difference?) to 27.5mm is it worth the 50.00? i would just spend the extra cash and get something alittle bigger, but i just shelled out 60 some dollars for the tors kit and another 50 for the toomey 2:1 itake(which i do like). who has experiance running these carbs????

well i bought a set of v-3's and they are pretty nice, i got a set of like 1/2" reedspacers sitting around and i was just wondering who has input on them? should i slap them in? i got the reeds in with a toomey 2-1 intake so i dont really have to mod. anything.

i bought a used set of delta 3's of ebay for 167.00 :: the guy said they were like new with no imperfections, but each cage has like 3 small gaps, i can break out the feeler gauge if i need to, how much is too much? should i just send them back?

i saw some vavle stems on the net before, that you would use to turn your front wheels inside out, does anyone know about these and where i can find them?

i didnt read all the threads so maybe this has been brought up and sorry if it has. but on my old tecate i had some wicked stator problems with it, and once a screw holding the stator on the timing plate loosend up enough to touch the flywheel and it shorted itself out some how...

well, i got a spare head for my banshee i bought off ebay for 20.00, and its in good shape so i want to experiment with it. besides shaving what/how else can you modify these? iam going to take it to my local machine shop and talk it over with him but i want alittle input first.

iam sorry but i ment i need the eliminator kit. hehe ::

yep, after further investigating why my banshee wasnt running good, i found one of my sleeves is cracked, just under the exhaust port. i got a guy i know checking into a sleeve/piston kit for me. cant wait till i get all the parts together. i will post pictures of the port job he is going to do. the estimite with parts and machine shop time will be around a grand :shoothead: does anyone know where a good place would be to check into sleeves?

its good to be back guys, i remember nyuk and meat for sure. Meat, your old website(is it still around?) was awsome, and very helpful. i got rid of my old '99 started blowing cranks and top ends out of it left and right, i bought a 2001 last winter, and blew that up recently too(i know i know) just finished tearing into it tonight, just needs a minor top end kit ya know, top ring, right cylinder blew apart on the exhuast side. i'll keep posting on here, this site is VERY nice and helpful i cant count the number of times i was balls deep into a banshee project and got stumped and jumped right on here before even calling the repair shop for a question, thanks again everyone.

well i tried it again today, welded nut and bolt together put a socked on it, and a breaker bar about 2.5 ft long, and the weld started cracking. this is gonna be a SOB.

well thanks guys. i thought that thing had to come out. i just got a really big nut and bolt, welded them together, but was reafin on it pretty hard so i stopped. is it regular threads? (left to loosen) thanks again.

i gotta change the bearings in my warrior and was wondering if anyones done in? its all apart except the outer bearing race. i assume it goes up threw the top, but theres this octagonal shaped thing in the way? does this have to be lossened out or something? any picutres would be great too. thanks.
