No Limit Powersports

I have a good set of stock unbored cylinders off of a 2003 banshee. They were ported by powerhouse porting in se ks. My buddie had the exact same port job and mods done and his made 64hp with, cpi's noss head 17cc domes, 5 degrees of timing and stock carbs, and the clutches slippin on sandtrax's dyno 2 weeks ago. The cylinders come with pistons that ran fine before removal but would recommend a freshing up, your choice. PM with offers

I think lonnie was more impressed after he rode it but he said he would have like to see the hp numbers a little higher but the tq numbers were huge 44 is what a 4 or 7 mill will make. The problem I see with lonnie, and dont get me wrong he is a great guy, he almost acted like he didnt want to help squeeze ever hp out of my bike like Ive seen him do on his own motors, why, because and this is just my opinon the cub is direct competition to his port work and every porter thinks he is the best porter. Why would you spend 600 dollars on a port job and get 65-75hp when you could spend 875 and make 90. Calvin really opened up a new market with these cylinders, they will allow alot of us that will spend 800-1000 and still use all of are parts that we've already invested in and make huge numbers where we wouldnt spend 2000-2800 on a full out cheetah and have to waste all of are parts we've already invested in. Granted under ideal conditions (larger carbs and a better ignition) these might make close to 90-95 hp. I dunno anybody that can port a stock bore stock stroke stock cylinder with stock carbs and ignition to make 80hp and 44ft/lbs.

I got a set of 65mm stock stroke about 2 weeks ago and let me tell you these things scream. Calvin is a personal friend of mine and personally put my motor together for me. They got put on the sandtrax's dyno jet dyno about a week and and a half ago. I have cpi inframes, vforce, stock carbs, 5 degrees of timing, 170lbs of compression, and .065 squish. Still running a little fat(cold nights) and it made 78.9hp and 44lbs of tq. You probably are going to pick up very little from port work because if there was much left in the cubs they would be cast that way but you might get a little. Going to a 68mm will give you some more and a 4mm would help even more. But let me tell you that stock carbs on this cylinder is killing me because they flow so efficient they need a big carb like 36-40mm. We had to jet my bike way down to get it right because the cylinders were sucking the stock carbs main so hard it was running way fat. Sandtrax told me a good set of 38mm would probably pick me up 10+hp....???89hp stock stroke and bore on 100 octane lol????..... pretty impresive! As far as dans dyno goes I dunno. Sandtrax said that his dyno always reads a little high but everybody tells me that sandtrax dyno always reads low soo....

They look like they stick way and will burn my legs is this an issue? Just letting you know this is the first thing I ask myself.

impact driver If that don't work take a piece of angle or something and drill a hole slightly smaller than the head and set it on top of the bolt head and weld the bolt to the plate and simple unscrew!

Im ready to buy a set of pipes but Im struggling between CPI's and Rockets. Ive already had one set of CPI's and liked them alot but I would like to try something different. My delima is that the rockets look huge in every pic that Ive seen which I think looks great but I have a feeling my legs wont agree. I would like to have some input from some of you guys who are running them on how big they really are. What about installation?? Fit and finish??

Thanks The shearer pipe's website isnt what I would call informative, does anybody know if they have a standard pipe that they sell or is all they sell custom built stuff. And what does it cost to get a pipe custom done to my specs, and can you get in chrome or is that after the fact costs.

Of all the people on here that run the rocket and even sell the rocket nobody has dynoed them or even compared them to the shearer or cpi.

any body got any info on the rockets(HP,TQ), or just that you put them on and they feel fast .

Im selling my 03 for a couple of reasons non of which are related to the bike. My guy runs a little shop here in ks called powerhouse porting he is really good and made some excellent power on my 03. I really like my cpi's but I here really good things about the shearer. Havent heard anything but here say on the rockets but would love to see some charts. How bout some pics of the shearer you have for sale? $$? What do you mean high strung?

Definetly buy the vforce if you wait you might be able to get the delta 3's. 350 mains aint terribly high but I would definetly just keep checking your plugs. All you have to do is buy a extra set of the outer gaskets and use them on the inside they will work just fine. If you do have no gasket there is a chance you might be leaking causing your plug to look lean just remember every bike is a little different and you will need to keep doing plug chops.

Ok, Iam selling the 03 and going to go buy a new 05 and not sure what pipe I want to run yet. The bike will go to the porter directly from the dealership. Im looking to make the most hp out of an inframe and havent been able to find some good dyno chart of a non-stroked biked. If anybody has one please post. Im running the cpi now but the boys over on PS really like the shearer but the rocket look pretty mean.

Let me set some of the facts straight from the other point of view. I personally know the guy who hit this kid and I do not like him at all but some of my buddies were with him last weekend and this is comming from there point of view. FYI I do not condone sp? what he done in no way. Here is what they told me: "The kid was not that much of a kid like 20ish. They said that he continuously kept going out and sticking the flag in the sand so that the draggers would smack it when they came by. (think about what you would do if you got hit with a flag numerous times). This kid was being a real ass and acting like some sort of badass smaking people with this flag and sticking it in the ground at a angle so it stab people when they hit it. Then the rider said he threw a bottle at his son or something and that really pissed him off. Second of all this kid walked out in the path of the race after it started like he was such a badass that the banshee would stop, like a game of chicken or something. The rider of the shee said he didnt have intentions of hitting him, he figured he would jump out of the way, but know his ego kept him out there." And no he didnt hit nobody else that day and he did turn himself in. He was charged with assault and battery with a deadly weapon, and did get out the same day. Like I said I do not agree with the way this was handled but you get two dumbasses with big egos and one with a 70mph deadly shee somebodys going to lose. Once again this is what I was told by my buddies that went with him I was not there!

This kit is made by CP industries aka Calvin Pollet. He is the same guy that makes the cheetah kit and is a two stroke genius. When it comes to making power Calvin knows his shit. Calvin is a personal friend of mine and the man understands motors especially two strokes probably better than anybody in the world. He has worked on that kit for awhile now but you should see some of the other things his working on, anything by calvin is amazing.
