The ignition seems to have three plugs on it, two of which match my 03 and the third i dont have at all?? Am i missing something here or is the the third plug for something im not seeing or have??

Ive got a DSG 02 and absolutely love it. Im a huge fan of the supercharged 5.4L ive had a lightning and then this truck and my bro has had 5 lightnings, and my dads had 1 and now a 03 harley. Its hard to beat the harley though because its a 4 door hotrod. I just put a 6lb lower pulley and predator programmer on it. Its almost as bad as the banshee, as in getting hooked on modding it. The motor is exactly like the lightning except for the upper pulley is bigger on the harley but there only like $50. -

INstalled Sherears! "Erratic Idel"
No Limit Powersports replied to Ls7colorado's topic in Jetting & Exhaust Forum
Just get rid of the tors so you know its not that. Theres is a switch in the throttle that engages it if the throttle is barely cracked. Unplug the black box under the gastank unplug both throttle top plugs, cut the plug off the clutch perch or unplug from below, and cut the trottle switch and that will completely remove it. -
I have a stock crank out of a 03 in perfect shape that has been trued and welded by sandtrax in tulsa ok. Im looking to get $150 for it.

T-rex 393 VS. cub 421 stroker
No Limit Powersports replied to mattw204's topic in Banshee Repairs and Mods
Cheetah all the way, your comparing 20 year old technology to 5 year old technology. It dont matter who's porting it, theres just more room in the aftermarket cylinders. -
anyone know how i should install my subs

Just as another option I think clarion or jl makes a hidden head unit that will take the inputs from the factory radio and clean it up and put it out of a set of 4v pre outs. There made for some people who dont want to lose the look of factory or maybe have a navigation system integrated into there radio that there not willing to lose. But just as a side note I still bought a aftermarket alpine head unit for my 02 harley pickup, so... -
My stock stroke cub was a more than a handful with the stock swinger. I wouldnt recommend it for nobody. In sand i would get out run by alot slower bikes b/c all i could do is wheely. I went with a +4 and its just about right, I can keep it down if i want and wheely if i want.

whats my hp going to be
No Limit Powersports replied to THEREALBUDLIGHTBANSHEE's topic in General Banshee Discussion
Jeff just out of curiosity did you measure your port timings on the cylinders that you got I wonder if maybe they were for a stroker or something. I doubt they were because it wouldnt run at all but just curious. Did lonnie help tune it for you or do any timing changes or plug or plug wire changes or anything. The reason i ask is that he seems to help his port jobs see better numbers and run better, since I know the 75.3 your talking about. When I put mine on the dyno the first time I picked up 7 hp from a jetting change and another 3 from a plug wire change. -

Best Tires for drag
No Limit Powersports replied to No Limit Powersports's topic in Banshee Repairs and Mods
The new kenda's look pretty good but I would like to here more testimonies about them before i bought them. The Kenda knarlys, and the turf tammers both look good. I like the tammers because of the huge contact patch that they have, ive ran them before and they hook good but ive never tried them cut. The kendas look pretty wicked cut like loco does it almost like a paddle or wedge but looks like they wouldnt wear very good and they still dont look like they have the contact patch of the tammers. Not really concerned with wear life i just want something thats going to hook. Loco do you have any close ups of your tires cut And how bout some close up of the tammers cut Thanks for the replies keep em coming -

Best Tires for drag
No Limit Powersports replied to No Limit Powersports's topic in Banshee Repairs and Mods
thanks for all the reviews guys I actually was thinking about the pro wedges but was curious to see if anybody would mention them. I also was wandering if anybody had tried the new skat-trak terrain trak for dirt?? I like the idea of the pro-wedges ive heard nothing but good about them. I also like the idea of having a tire that i can ride anywhere even know i dont ride but pretty much on the dirt or sand but occasionaly i might want to take off down the pavement or gravel road and was wandering if the pro-wedges would hold up. Keep the experience/suggestions coming -
I know that this has been asked before and Im not looking for opinions im looking for expirences. Im looking for a good tire for dirt drags. I have run stock, holeshots, shredders, fast trekkers, and turf tammers. As far as hooking up I think its probably a toss up between the shredders and the tammers(uncut) but not sure. Stocks -- Suck Holeshots -- hookup decent wear sucks Shredders -- hookup good wear good trekkers -- hookup decent wear not sure tammers -- hookup good wear good if i had to rate this i would say 1-2 shredders tammers, then trekkers, then holeshots, then stock I would like to have some comparisons/experiences with the Knarly's and I-razr or whatever youve tried

Man sounds like your tranny problem was just a good excuse to buy some stuff lol. Did you get some different cylinders or just get yours re-ported?
-
No prob thanks for the compliments everybody. With this type of weather its real hard to not plan another race soon but I know as soon as we do it will get cold as hell. Ill try and call the guy running the camera as soon as possible to get some of the videos posted. Jeff did you figure out what was wrong with your bike yet?
-
No vids yet but ill try and get them up soon Thanks for the comments well try for our next race to get the win light and maybe a little better organization but I think we did pretty well for our first race.

We had a good turn out with 30 riders for our first go I didnt think it was too bad. The lights worked real good and the weather was perfect. Results went like this: 2-Stroke Water 1st. -- Jeff Yates (HQ name = BudlightBanshee) 2nd. -- Chris Myers (HQ name = 03portedshee) 3rd. -- Kelly Kudrick (HQ name = 02blueshee) Outlaw 1st. -- Matt Bateson 2nd. -- Jeff Yates (BudlightBanshee) 3rd. -- Darrel Kustenborder 4-Stroke 401 and up 1st. -- Matt Bateson 2nd. -- Darrel Kustenborder 3rd. -- Drew Banzett Thanks to everybody that made it. If anybody has any suggestions or comments shoot me a pm. We would really like to have another one this year but I seriously doubt that the weather will cooperate like it did this weekend. But I think by spring this will be a sand track. --Andy
