I have a set of reed spacers I'm thinking of installing. I'm running stock carbs and airbox. When putting the spacers on is there a problem with fitting the carbs back on because of the space difference between the carb and airbox?Do you have to mod the box?

I just got off the phone with a rep at maier and they said the new plastics that look like the raptor to fit on the shee would be out in a few weeks. Thats all they could tell me right now.

I just dyed them yesterday and they turned out great. Well worth the $4.00 I guess. My only problem now is how to get the dye out of my new jeans and off the wall. Yeah I had a little accident and splashed some out. Guess I should have listened to my wife. Let's see $4.00 for dye, -$20.00 for new jeans, paint for wall -$8.00 dollars = -$24.00. I suggest anyone doing this to do it in the garage with some old clothes on. Just for the record the nets look like new. Thanks for the info guys.

I had given the dye some thought but i thought the dye wouldn't stay in the nets since I get her wet alot . I pressure wash the sheet out of her when I'm through ridin her hard . Hey BigBoy do you have and pics of your nets dyed? I see Rockymountainatv has some DG nets for 17.99 which is nowhere near as cheap as the dye. I'll probably give it a few more days if nowone trades and try the dye. Thanks for the input.

My friend just went through this on his shee. We did all the same shit your talking about. Finally we bought a nice master cylinder off ebay for like $25 that came with lever and cap. Would really like to know if the vacpump works. Keep us posted, might have to buy one if it works for you. I'm willing to bet the pump works since your getting pressure out of the master cylinder. Obviously the lines are dry and doing it manually with out the pump will take for ever to get any fluid out of the bleeder valve. Reality is you probably didn't need the rebuild kit just the right tool.

can you post more pics on the hush kit/fmf set up. Thor1 make sure if your getting the hush kit off ebay that it has the spark arrester if you need it. Toomey makes the kit with and with out the spark arrester. Hope I don't outbid you J/K.

Well to start off the bikes are not stock. If you got pipes on them, then that is not what came on the bike. Could be jetting, gearing maybe your cousin is fat. Or some of your mods that are "stock" not stock could make the difference too.

I agree with boonman, Vito's pitons are made from wiseco. Vito's takes the pistons and modifys them for different set ups. Vetos's changes the widows adn the bottom of the skirts. By doing this it not only changes the port timing but it lightens the piston to help with hp and a lil quicker rev. So your question is not what piston to use(vito's or wiseco) but how are you trying to set the bike up(top-end, bottom, mid range). What ever pistons you get make sure you let the shop know what kind of riding you do most and what you want performance wise. I would just call Vito and tell him what you want.

Go buy some lime-a-way at the grocery store. Will make pipes look great and its cheap with no scrubbing. Double benefit cause you can use it in your house too.

You might want to think about having your stock carbs bored to 28s if you get the fatties(its a lot cheaper than trinity set up-probably at least 400.00 cheaper). I ride ssts and my wife rides fatties with 28s. We ride hill trail riding alot and her bike has way more bottom and mid range. Of course I smoke her on top on a drag but how often are you gonna be draggin in the woods? She still smokes my friends raptors on drags too.
