its not a racial slurr when a black or mixed person says nigga and i am mixed I call bullshit. Just because your mixed doesn't give you or anybody else the right to their own language. As long as you are using these terms you are promoting evryone else to use them. Then you will turn around and say honky or whitey or some other shit like that. As far as the "N" word goes I'm not predjudice but I think if the shoe fits then wear it. The NAACP would go apeshit if they came out with a whitestarz tv channel. To me it is just a word that people of all colors put to much emphisis on. Quit living in the past and stop judging a book by its cover (no matter what color people are). Its easy to treat people how you want to be treated. Try it, it works.

Slide Guide On Stock Mikuni Slipping Out Of Place!
pimp559 replied to knight_ripper's topic in Banshee Repairs and Mods
Yes that happened to my wife on her shee at the top of jump. The bike took off through a field like a bat out of hell. Luckily it hit a bump in the field and dislodged before it got to the main road. It scarred her but she was alright. I pulled on my shee and was like where in the hell is your bike. She pointed way out into the field. I guess in this case the tors might have helped. I took it home and found that the guide had backed out(after buying a new throttle cable). I just pushed it back in good and super glued it from the outside. Never had a problem with it after that. -
No they are two different things. Do you have tors or not? Must know to help you locate.

Goin the weekend after this one. The riding is great as long as it is not overpacked with people like on holiday weekends. When its packed like that the sand is all rutted up and really ruff riding. Best time to go is during the week, then you have the whole beach to yourself. Becareful someone usually dies there evry weekend. Just keep your eyes peeled and think safe and should be alright.

Right And Wrong Way To Ride A 2 Stroke?
pimp559 replied to trail rider's topic in General Banshee Discussion
I have a friend that has a 1992 banshee he bought new. It still has never been rebuilt and it runs exelent. It is stock and he just does the normal maintence of cleaning the filter and changing the oil. He goes riding quite a bit and shee has never let him down. -
They want $50 bucks at the local yamaha shop. Thats a rip.

Sounds like a cheap fix turbo. Thanks

Does anyone have a good trick for fixing a choke that won't stay out?

Right And Wrong Way To Ride A 2 Stroke?
pimp559 replied to trail rider's topic in General Banshee Discussion
One thing to keep in mind is that any stroke motor only gets lubrication(in the crank case) from the oil in the fuel only. If you ride alot of trails/hills be careful not to use the back compression from the motor to slow you down. Alot of times the rpm's the motor is producing when using back pressure is bad because its not getting enough fuel. Imagine it this way: Your idle jet is only goona put out so much fuel for so many rpms. If your coming down a long hill using the back pressure to slow the bike down the idle jet is not producing enough fuel to keep the motor properly lubricated. So on trial ridding sometimes (alot) it is necessary to pull the clutch in and coast downhill while the bike idles. This way you will not over rev the motor with out enough fuel. So the answer is yes you do ride a 4choke a little different from a 2-stroke. Riding your 2-stroke as described above will definetly increase the longevity of your motor. If you keep up the maintence on your 2-stroke it can easily out last a 4-choke. :flame: 4-choke -
That's cool Knightrider I'm glad you see it that way. Te be honest I don't know if I even like the new rapshee plastics. I guess I'll have to see them on a bike to know. I'm not saying I wouldn't stand up for what I believe in. I just didn't believe in what I said to you. Thanks for being a man about this also. Happy riding.

How would the unsprung wait affect the handling?
-
Heres the shocker. I actually fill childish for baggin on knightrider like I did. For evryone reading this I am personally aplogizing for what was said to him. I felt like he was putting me down for just posting info for evryone to look at and I didn't like it. A real man would just walk away which is what i should have done. No I'm not a teenage punk sitting behind a computer talking shit, I'm almost 30 and should know better than get in a flame fest with someone over something that is not even worth it. From this day forward you will never here me putting someone else down. That is really not me and I want you all to know this. Please look at it from my view, what if someone was putting you down for just posting something for evryone. Wouldn't that piss you off. I should have just laughed it off and went on. Some might view me as soft but those are probably the teenage punks out there and you have something to learn. A real man knows when he's wrong.

Since you already cut the chain you will probably have to go down a tooth on the front. YOu can run two masterlinks and the piece in between the two links you cut to get it back. I run it that way on my cr500 when I get a new chain cause I know its gonna stretch because of the power. Once it stretchs then I take out the piece and run just one masterlink.

Wow you almost scarred me. Not. You push my buttons I push yours. Like you didn't expect me to fire back bubba. You better be careful when sticking your head in a hornets nest, you just might get bit. Now how dumb am I now, now that I got your panties all up in a knot. I'm playin you like chess. I suggest if you don't like the heat then stay out of the fire. I guess you expect me to think your real mature also. As far as your Mama goes sorry to here your loss, but don't expect for me not to fight back. Maybe you should keep your opinion to yourself. Or I will have to hurt your feelings some more.

Hey nightriduuurrrr. Are you pissed cause I pimpted out your mama, I'm pissed too cause I didn't get shit for her except for some food stamps which they don't even except in Cali. And I guess evryone interested on this forum is gay too because they are interested in the plastics too. Sounds like you need a good bitch slappin. You should be thankful I pimpted your mama out or you wouldn't be here today. I think a thank you is order. Oh ya and tell your sista to send the $.

What Do You Do With Your Used Oil?
pimp559 replied to trail rider's topic in General Banshee Discussion
Your suppose to put it in the creek, then it just goes away with no mess. -
The J-arms do a nice job, but the a-arms are alot better. There stronger and you have alot more options when it comes to setting them up. If you do have the j-arm you can upgrade it to the A-arms. Meat on this site sells the kits for like $125.00. I have a 1990 the last year of the j-arm I'm going to convert when I get the $ for it and some after market a-arms. If you are just donig recreation riding and not too hard on her shee should be fine with the j-arm. If you ride hardcore then it a must. Hope this helps.

Keep in mind painting plastics and shit like that is not too appealing to a buyer. Could make someone think your trying to hide something.
