Yes If your into racing its a great time on a big weekend, if not there is hardly anybody there to race. On the big weekends too you get to see all the baddest bikes and get to test your skills alot. Big weekends are A+ for drag racing.

Sorry Josh A. I didn't get back to you about the frame. It looked like you had it sold anyway. As far as Pismo goes I think the conditions in the summer suck. There are way to many people there and it usually gets real windy which also sucks for riding and camping. We park our bikes in the summer and stay on the lake wakeboarding usually at Pine Flat Lake. Another thing about going to Pismo in the summer is that you can drive 3-4 hours to get there and not even be aloud into camp cause you didn't get reservations, that really sucks.

Sounds like a good deal as long as it runs good. Most 89's i've seen have been around $2500.00 if there in real good shape. You could find one alot cheaper but it probably won't be in running condition. If you don't know that much about 2-strokes then take a friend with you that does, It could save you some heartache and some $.

If you go to Alba you can buy a banshee with your choice of pipes with filter and jets already installed and with your chioce of their graphics for $5995.00. Thats an awsome deal if you live close enough to pick it up and not ship it.

I've heard that is a common problem with those carbs. The local shop told me that you can't get the right pilot set up for them. One pilot is too big and the step under is too small. They said you need a cutom pilot drilled for them. This is just what they said, don't quote me in this. It sounds right though cause if your pilot is too big you'll be gettin to much fuel in the bowl. My guess is it doesn't over flow while your riding it cause you are drawing from the bowl more than at idle. You could get that pcs overflow kit and redirect the excess fuel. Just my 2cents worth.

Hi guys and gals, I wanted to alert you all to a scammer. This guy put up a post in the for sale add about selling a KX 80. I offered him $300.00 and he said he would take it ( should have know, sounds to good must be). I asked for his number to set up the buy and he said he missed his payment on the phone bill. Then he said he didn't have a title and he wouldn't give me his whole address. He only has four posts on here. I gave him my tollfree number and he still has not called. 2banshees had about the same response from him. He asked for the vin number and the guy has still never gotten back to him. Lets see here, no phone, no address, no title, no vin# and only four posts on the HQ. I've always felt if it smells like shit, looks like shit, and feels like shit it must be shit. Just wanted to let you all know to be careful with Fastridinbanshee cause he's trying to pull a fast one.

My local shop sells the head with the mill done and squish cut for like $120.00 with trade in. If your shop wants to charge like $ 150.00 for it done with the squish recut then I would just spend the extra money and get a Noss head for $200.00.

99lrdblaster no you can't just cut some off of the head. For it to be done properly you need to have your squish angle redone also. The squish is the slanted part around the inside of the dome. If this angle is not reshaped then when milling the head you are not getting the full effect of a milled head. With out the right squish angle you could experience some detonation. Make sure who ever does your head also recuts the squish angle to match how much the mill was. If not your pretty much wasting your loot and asking for problems in the long run.

Do you have insurance on it? I had the floor replaced in my 78 Sanger Jetboat and it cost the insurance company about $2500.00 and they did't even redo the stingers or carpet. Have you thought about doing it yourself? If you don't have insurance on it I would get some and then maybe it might get some water in it and let them fix it . The floor was only like a 4' x 6' area that they repaired for me. I would think that your boat has more floor area cause mine was only a 4 seater. I traded it in on a new BlueWater Vision SE because I was tired of working on it. I still miss it though. The materials for the repair were only like $250.00 out of the $2500.00. Seems like a rip but what can you do unless you do it yourself. Good luck

No, you can pull the shift shaft through clutch side easily after removing the shifter. Check to make sure the lock nut and tab are tight on the pivot pin. Mine came loose before and caused shifting problems. If you pull the shaft make sure you get a new seal on the shifter side.
