banshee04le replied to 2004LEBanshee's topic in General Banshee Discussion
Ohhh, now I get it. Wind tunnel must be some website or something where 2004LEBanshee got april fooled with the bogus Jeff Gordan news. But now I don't understand why Banshee76179 is so about it. -

Did you go off of your medication again? -
I'm not sure what you are saying that you want to put no2 on but cold fusion kits are the way to go. NOS brand is cold fusion components with NOS stickers. The man to contact is [email protected] he is the cold fusion sales rep. On ebay he goes by catdaddy1234 and his feedback is excellent. The 2cylider kit is about $360. You would then need to buy a sealed type battery of at least 4ah and a 4-6psi automotive type fuel pump. Instructions are general and not application specific. Be prepared to make a trip or 2 to the hardware store and to fabricate brackets as needed. The nozzles cannot be properly installed in the boots. Install the nozzles after the carbs, in reed spacers, that you will drill and tap. Let me know if you have any questions about wiring the system or rectifying the shees stator output to charge the battery.

The Best Way To Adjust Your A Arms?
banshee04le replied to got1banshee's topic in General Banshee Discussion
You want the wheel to tilt in at the top a couple of degrees. I dropped a plumb line (fishing weight and line) holding the line against the inside top of the rim and adjusted camber until I had an even 3/8" offset at the bottom of the rim (where the weight was dangling) on each side. You can best eyeball your toe-in (which is probably your problem) by looking from the rear of the bike and sighting the fronts with respect to the rear, which you know are straight. First get both sides perfectly straight with the rear and when you are confident you have done your best at that, then start to adjust your toe in by turning each side the exact same amount until you have even slight toe in. Just make sure you have a little toe in and a little camber and that both sides are even and you will be fine. If your running on pavement though you may want to find a more accurate method. -
No, it does not stop the slides. It will cut the ignition if the switch on the thumb throttle says throttle closed, but the switch on the slides says throttle open i.e. a stuck throttle.

Anyone Else Have This Problem?
banshee04le replied to got1banshee's topic in General Banshee Discussion
You need to step back and start sprayin sucka's I get my neighbors looking out the window occasionally, but no cops at my door yet. My neighbors are all so old, they don't know what to think of me and my contraption . All they know is it has 4 wheels and is loud. -
Grab your front tires and jerk them around side to side. If there is slop, its time for new wheel bearings or a-arm bushings. If thats tight, just look at the bike from the front. Are both tires straight, when the handlebars are straight? If not, look at your steering stem where the tie rods connect. Set the bike up on its grab bar to get a good look at the bottom of the steering stem. The part of the stem where the tierods connect likes to bend.

Smith And Wesson 1911 Sw1911
banshee04le replied to German Shepherd's topic in General Banshee Discussion
I do not have any recommendation on the models of weapons that you specified. I would just like to share something that I found humerous. When I clicked on German Shepherd to view his personals, I found that he had completed only one of the optional fields. Under My Banshee he has quote "Factory Shee" It's not stock...it's a Factory Shee OK. I'm done now. -

Welcome to the hq. If you have never ridden a banshee, you are going to freaking love it. I rode many a dirt bike before I jumped on one and it was the shizit. The powerband comes on like a light switch. Fun as sh!t. Good luck selling your rm and finding the banshee of your dreams . -
Thanks for the warning playa. Not cool at all. How long have you been trying to get a hold of him. Maybe he's DEAD. Thats no excuse though . What do you say hq'ers...lets keep this thread alive until we get to the bottom of this .

If it is revving to the moon then your slides are not closing all the way. Like bigtreads said and you probably know, you must line up the pin in the bore with the slot in the slide. If the slides where closing enough then the engine could not possibly get enough air to rev high...therefore your slides are NOT closeing properly. Like has already been said, there are only 3 things that will keep the slides from closing all the way. Either the pin in the bore is not lined up with the slot in the slide, or the slot is lined up but your needle is not in proper position, or your cable is hanging it up... adjust it or whatever, but you have to get your slides down. I know from experience it can be a bitch to get the slides to fall down into position sometimes, even when the pin IS lined up, but when it falls into position you will know it, because it drops. I'm thinking they are just not dropped into full proper position. Take them out and try again.

Yeah, Action got a bad rep, so he changed it to Ugly...now he needs to change the name again already! Kind of like the old Ryan string trimmers. They changed their name a few times (I think they were IDC last time I heard) but kept pushing the same crappy product. Your lucky he messed up those shock mounts or you would be running ugly. Now you'll be running the best. Nice recovery! Here you go lowrider Quicksand
-
Good one frocash...right on!
-
None of my business, but it would have been nicer for you to say that you changed your mind than to say that you gave them to someone else. Why would you feel obligated to the first responder when your offer was specifically to NYUK?
-
You should only have to measure the jig, not every arm. Does this guy even use an assembly jig or is he just eyeballing it and saying "good nuff".
-
They fuxxored up the lower shock mount location. It was like an inch off (too close to the frame) and put the arms at a funky bad angle. Demsy posted a pic of them on his bike here (page2)

$800?!?! Quicksand is only $500 . j/k...you got ebay, paypal and the hq working for ya. He'll make it right...eventually. He's probably just swamped with calls...no telling how many of them fu@ked up arms he sent out. No excuse, but I wouldn't worry too much if I were you. He'll probably call you tomorrow (wonder how demsy got through?) and if I were you, I would probably tell him that I'm pissed and I don't want my fu#ked up arms fixed, I want my money back. Tell him he can do it quick and quite...or you will go through paypal and then trash him everyday on the hq and every other atv forum out there. He'll cough up the loot. Then get some Quicksand arms .
