Hey klotzban1, if you didn't know, azsandrat is Gary of Quicksand Motorsport fame. Gary, I got my arms Friday just like you promised. Holy shit, talk about pristine work. I service the welding industry and see a lot of welders and their work. I see a lot of welds. Those are THE prettiest damn welds I have EVER seen. Fit was spot on. Finish was flawless. How did you pack them? There wasn't even a fingerprint on the chrome. Speaking of the chrome, I boobed up putting them on and long story short, cracked them with a crescent wrench and to my suprise...I couldn't tell where. Klotzban1, do yourself a favor and forget about ASR arms, and look at the Quicksand arms. If you already got the ASR arms...better luck next time Thanks again Gary, my bike is sittin pretty now . Mike P.S. I'm gonna be posting pics soon, but imagestation deactivated my account the other day for posting links to forums Has this happened to anyone else?

Why Are Banshee's Dirt Cheap?
banshee04le replied to 01 Blue Screaming Banshee's topic in General Banshee Discussion
Around here you could probably get $3800 if you were patient and $3400 all day long. This is the best time of year to sell. Oh, and like oldturtle said, whats the story? -

Interesting. I called direct drive about 2 months ago for their clutch lockout, ordered it COD, as they gave me that option, and also have seen nothing. I've left about 3 messages that have not been returned. I have been thinking about calling GRR but now . Keep us posted.

I don't know if I can explain this right, but this is what I did. First of all you need compressed air to do it the way I did. Take a T vacuum line fitting. It should be 5/16-3/8" on both ends and about 1/8" on the t'd off fitting. Blow compressed air through one of the large fittings and a good vacuum is produced on the smaller t'd off fitting. Connect this smaller fitting to your bleeder with vac hose, loosen the seal on your master cylinder and crack the bleeder while the air is flowing...and for me it purged the line and worked. watch where you are pointing the spray when the brake fluid starts shooting out and make sure you keep your master cylinder topped off while you are doing it. Also make sure that you have a crush washer on top AND bottom of your line fitting.

I think you should be able to just right click on it (a menu box will then pop up), left click on delete and then it will ask you if you want to send the file to the recycle bin. Left click yes and you are done. You will want to empty your recycle bin occasionally also, to keep you system running effeciently.

Actually those things don't shift at all. As rpms increase, a flyweight mechanism puts pressure on the drive belt and causes the drive belt to ride up on a cone shaped drive plate. As the belt moves up on that cone shaped drive plate further and further, the bike goes faster and faster, but not fast enough to beat a banshee .

I'm running a #24 nitrous jet with a #20 fuel jet at 4psi fuel pressure as I have only been managing about 700-800lbs of bottle pressure, because it has been so cold out. Time will tell. It feels like you better hold on. -
I'm Gonna Have A Bike To Ride Semi Soon
banshee04le replied to bignasty1's topic in General Banshee Discussion
Hell yeah, ride the hell out of it and then sell it or trade it for a banshee. -
Are you serious? It doesn't matter if it's a 2stroke or a 4stroke, rear wheel horsepower is rearwheel horsepower. I have ridden 2stroke and 4stroke quads, dirtbikes, you name it. Of course 2strokes rev faster and harder. They will also leave the line faster and harder if you set your bike up right and know how to ride it. This site is full of information about making power and getting it to the ground.

It is pretty funny, loser.

Dude, now your just a dumb ass. Evident not only by your inability to spell correctly, but also by your failure to grasp the point that I was trying to make. Lee gets his pm's just like you or I, and I am sure that there is a logical reason that he has not responded yet i.e. ...he has a life. What purpose does it serve to, basically, call Lee out in the public forum? I am not going to waste any more energy to try to convince you that I am right, because I am sure that anyone that matters already agrees with me. So I would just like to say to you :flame:

Exactly...in fact there is no "realing them in" on any surface. If you are not winning a DRAG from start to finish with 60hp, let alone 80...then you need to find the right tire for the surface you are racing on. If your problem is not the tire, then you just don't know how to ride. And a GOOD mx'r might beat me on a MX track with a 450, but a GOOD mx'r on a modded banshee will beat an average mx'r on a 450. So there you go.

Well.....I've never SEEN Lee, but I know that he is not some kid, he is a very busy man. IF I were him, I would imagine that I may not have time to respond to every whimsical little inquiry as quickly as some may like. Lee takes good care of this place, but give the guy a break, he's got a life too. Would you care to share what it is that is so important. Maybe someone else can help you.
-
With all due respect sir, I fail to understand, with all of the hype I've heard from you about passion's porting, why you have trouble beating a 45hp bike that is only 30lbs lighter. Perhaps age is affecting your riding abilities.

First Attempt At Self-guillotine
banshee04le replied to Wallrat's topic in General Banshee Discussion
Holy chit! Looks like one of your coworkers stapled that up for you. -
Is it true that it is not good to change the brand of oil that you use? I've heard that you should wait until you rebuild the top end to change .

First Attempt At Self-guillotine

Ouch. Glad your still with us. One of our drivers at work was having one of them days today. I heard a big crash and walked back to find that the boob had just backed the truck into the garage door (it was not up all the way) and knocked it off track. Well come to find out, he had JUST come from our other wharehouse, where he had JUST done the same damn thing!!! He hasn't been around too long and I don't think he is going to be around too long . -
That ain't no shit. I'm loading right now too (still ). 2 hits at the same time....their server is probably smoking right now. My homebased webpage could host this shit faster.

Sell outs. Of course the yfz is faster in stock trim. The banshee is choked down in stock form. The sound and feel of the banshee powerband is what it's all about. Get a banshee. You will have more fun riding it and tricking it out. If you don't get a banshee you'll be sorry when you are getting burned up by them.
