  1. I bolted up the header pipes and went to slip on the silencers and they wouldn't slip on . I cleaned up the silencers (female part of the slip on) with a dremel drum sander and they still wouldn't slip on. I took off the clamp so I could see what the hell the problem was and jammed them b@st@rds on there and got the bolts in and they look and sound great!...but I don't have a clamp on there and am not sure that I even need one. Any one else have this problem . Should I worry about the clamp?
  2. Glad to hear your back in business.
  3. Get rid of the stock air filter and get a proflo type adapter and a 2 clamp on type filters. Having 2 just makes it easier because you always have one clean and ready to install. Change your tranny oil about every 15-20 hours and lube your a-arm and swingarm pivot points. Other than that, keep your chain clean (and the rest of your machine) and adjusted and get a clymer manual for reference to proper procedure for more in depth future maintenance issues. If you don't know jetting, get to know it if you want your machine to run good and last. Everything you need to know is here. And most importantly, try and keep the rubber side down. Get some better rear tires though so that lesser machines aren't under the mis-impression that they can actually hang with the shee. Stock tires suck...bad.
  4. I flipped mine and have a steering stabilizer. It was still a significantly rougher ride due to bumpsteer. I did not like it and flipped them back.
  5. I seen someone janked his old avatar. He is going to school to be a nuclear physicist or something and I imagine that has become rather demanding of his time.
  6. Did you give her a proper b!tch slappin'?
  7. My bike is like that. It runs much better when cold ever since I raised my needles (lowered my clips) one notch. 5 or 10 minutes is normal warm up time. Take it easy till shees fully warmed up.
  8. Daren420 and Powerjunkie are on atvconnection alot, and I believe have links posted.
  9. I believe Deuce has got the means to follow through too. We need to get nater006 and his "dual processor beater box dual booting Debian and Free DBS" on this mofo. I'd like to lay a bead and a beating on him.
  10. I'm confused. Do you HAVE a shee motor or are you looking for one? What is it that you are willing to part with in trade?
  11. Looks good. But I never seen a bike that dirty with plastic that clean .
  12. I pay pal'ed you for the axle last night about 6:00pm. You gonna end that? Let me get a tracking number as soon as you can...I can't ride till it gets here. Thanks. Oh, sorry...you did end it.
  13. In good shape at a good price
  14. I'll take sloppy seconds on the booty your sportin' now bigwill... in your avatar I mean
  15. yard monkey Evil I'm diggin' the verbal version of your old sig almost as much as the jpeg. I like it more each time I read it. Nice job keeping her memory alive. Revise it and spice it up every once in awhile for us. Different positions...a g-string
  16. The absolute best part is how you think you know a lot cause you wrote a lil script, script-kiddie, but you don't even realize how easy it is to deny access to your hostname, IP, or entire subnet... or even contact your ISP and tell them how you're abusing your lease on their connection and watch 'em ban ya, That'd be a party. Or with about 10 seconds of adding 1 more rule iptables could just drop your packets on the spot, no matter which protocol or ports you try. But duh you know how to write a batch file!... well aren't you special! Lee.. I've got a gigabit connection to the outside world from work. If ya see any fun hostnames or IPs appearing... lemme know Got a dual-processor beater box dual-booting Debian and FreeBSD that could use a little workout. Plus it gets so boring sometimes.. Way to kick some cyber-ass nater006. That was cool as hell. You chased him off like the bitch that he is. You da man playa.
  17. Sounds to me like you answered your own question. Move it back so it accelerates like a demon.
  18. Sounds like you might have a air leak somewhere. With the engine running, before it has a chance to get too hot, run water out of a garden hose around all mating surfaces. You can sometimes pinpoint air leaks like this by listening for a change in rpms. Make sure your throttle caps are good and tight also.
  19. XC's last longer. MX's are made of a softer compound. They grip a little better but wear out faster.
  20. My thoughts on why it was deleted, and I should probably keep my thoughts to myself, is that...at the end, Brooke posted that she found the whole thing amusing...which it was. Lee then posted a timeline of the hq's existence and I believe he may have then thought, and correctly so, that that is just what those little morons over on blew*****s would have wanted is to draw out a response from the 2 top dogs. He probably figured why even dignify that little douche bag warrior pussy aka redtrinitrity420homo with a response. In short, why even stoop to their level. A wise and mature decision I think, in stark contrast to the examples setforth by the heirarchy over at bluetraxx. With all that being said, I would just like to add that I encourage more bluetraxx members to sign up here at the hq and post more entertaining threads like redtrinity. Where is he anyway. Come back and dance for us monkey. DANCE!!!
  21. About all you can do now is rip out the screw (or what is left of it) and the insert with some vice grips. If you can get the screw out of the insert and clean up the threads, you can try to epoxy the insert back into the tank. The front plastic is slotted. The tank plastic is not.
  22. ok, uhhhhhhhhh...what just happened to the "who is the creator" thread. It was just at the top. Some bluetraxx mods infiltrate the system and jack the thread or something? Anybody else know what I'm talking about.
  23. Sorry bigwill, Steve Mcqueen was cool and all, but he wasn't cool hand luke. That was Paul Newman playa ...I'mmmm shakin' it boss. Steve Mcqueen was good in the blob though.
  24. Thanks bigwill
  25. Clint Eastwood and Jack Nicholson Least favorite...Keanu Reeves. Talk about a 1 dimensional character. Clints kinda 1 dimensional too, but at least he's cool.
