Its simple, you have to take the fight to him on the inside. Stay in on him. This type of approach takes great conditioning because it takes a flurry to work yourself in and then you can't stop there. When you need a break, stay back on your toes and make him miss and waste energy and then take it back to the inside. Edit: Or, let him beat you till he's tired and then kick his ass. 4130 is chromemoly, the stock swingarm is a mild high carbon steel. 4130 is tig welded. 0n 4130 thinner than .125, a gas process similar to brazing can be employed with some added benefit over tig, in some peoples opinion. You can mig 4130 with relatively poor results. It is not advised however to stick weld 4130. On the stock swingarm you can mig it or stick it. Mig is better and easier for the guy who don't know what he's doing. Mig is also better for the guy who DOES know what he's doing. But a guy with 20yrs experience stick welding, I guarantee would make a better stronger weld on your swingarm than a guy with a mig and inadequate experience. Just send it to loco if you want it done right. I've seen video of how rough he is on his machines and if his welds are holding up, they must be done right.

My silencers did not want to slip onto the pipes very easily at all. You might want to try a trial fit with the silencers before you put them on the bike. I had to take a rattail file and clean up the edge a little.

A spanner wrench is better if you have one. If not, just raise the bike up to take the weight off of the swingarm and then use a big long screwdriver and a hammer to tap it. It's not very hard. I've compressed front springs before with a method I learned on the hq. You need a ratchet strap. You will probably need to cut off one or both of the hooks so that you can pass the strap through the spring coil as needed. Tie it to the coil and start ratcheting. Works nice.

The way I see it is Lee is the man who STARTED this thing...don't you get it? The man deserves to make a little money off of a project like this. But I'm sure he don't.
