hey JOSH have you seen that hill right as you enter los lunas? i wonder if you can go riding there. it says hunting ground but i dont thats in effect yet. ill try and let you know.
they are having there mountain bike race the two same days as the desert race so dont get stuck in the wrong crowd. also there are very tight trails in socorro so wide might not be better. someone take along some fix a flat because there are some sharp rocks that might puncture. other than that get a lot of practice because this is one of the hardest tracks in new mexico( so ive heard). as for las vegas went there monday for a delivery and there were a lot of ruts from the rain .
i have the one with flames and it lets in enough air they are about the same i think. but if you have an issue with air flow / just look at your shee from the front and you see the two slots in the nose and that lets in a lot of air to if the grill doesnt. hope this helps by the way i do desert racing in 90 degree weather.
