I run sand drags with a strut on the rear of mine, It seems like it would be rough as hell, but its not really too bad (if the track is groomed well). when the small bumps start to form you are usually going so fast that you kind of just skip over the top of them, and dont even feel them.
If your gonna be riddin in rougher sand its prolly best to go with a marvin shaw. marvins are a lot stiffer than the stock shock.
