  5. To bad you still don't live in OK. Come the first of OCT we would see how them DMC's really performed! I've heard the 916, and it sounds pretty cool. have yet to hear the aliens tho.
  6. If taken care of properly the plating will prolly outlast the quad. I've been riding mx bikes all my life. Trust me, I run them hard too but, I also take good care of my bikes. I clean the air filter berfore every ride, and after I get done ridding the first thing I do is wash my bike. My bikes are always clean. All motocross bikes have had plating since the late 80's. The only way to wear a cylinder(thats plated) out is by not overhauling your bike when its time. The piston starts to wear, and then begins rocking at the top of the stroke and at the bottom, this starts to wear at the coating. So if you want your CUBs to last TAKE CARE OF THEM! ED
  7. To answer your question, Yes, you need new reeds. They should close all the way agaist the reed cage, with no gap. Prolly isnt really hurting your top end performance a whole lot tho.
  8. I bet I am just as fast as the rest with 10 grand into thier bikes. I bet not!

  12. Why are you taking off in 4th gear? Are you racing on snow, or down a mountain side? If you have enough power to take off in 4th gear with stock gearing, you shouldn't have any trouble winning a race.
  13. What needles you runnin... DGK?
  14. Porting plated cylinders is huge in the motorcyle world. Big named companys like FMF, procircut, RPM, Hickman, White Bros., Forward motion, ect., ect., you will never see them replating a cylinder after porting. I don't see what the big deal is? Someone, please shine some light on this subject.

  20. anywhere from +4 to +6 will be fine.
  21. Run what ya brung bud! I don't think you will have a problem running heads up. There are no real wigged out drag bikes out there, as of yet. But I'm sure as time goes on there will be. We will deal with that when the time comes. Lets put it this way, I won the banshee class on a bike with a dune port...Its prolly only puttin out 70hp max. From the looks of the bike in your sig. if you show up you will be the next winner. by the way, how are you running 8.5cc domes?
  22. Kalen, I tried to get a pic of me with my drag helmet posted as my avitar, but it wont work. Damn the luck.
  23. Come on up, and bring the 450. $5.00 to get in, and $10.00 to enter in each class. 90% payback..split 3 ways
  24. Yeah, he ran some cheap ass sand snake v paddles, and still kicked ass
