  1. I live In Kansas, but I used to race in MN a lot a few yrs back...What part of MN you from? I raced in Mankato, Redwing, and New Ulm.. Southern parts of MN
  2. the lightest weight (.125) 8" wheel is best for drag
  3. Without any porting its gonna have hella time pullin 6th in the sand. Sand puts a hard pull on the motor, thats why its almost impossible to get a stock banshee to pull 6th in the sand. Put it on dirt, it should go like hell.
  4. diff pistons aren't really gonna give you more power. But if you want them to last longer, I would say go with genuine yamaha pistons...the rings are about twice the thickness of any aftermarket piston.
  5. The sky's the limit
  6. off the showroom floor...about 38hp
  7. 4mil cub would prolly make 100hp on gas with some porting.
  8. good carbs.. easy jetting...good performance gains
  9. Cubs! They make a ton of power and are still reliable.
  10. If the dirt is moist at the starting line the wedges will hook twice as hard as paddles. That will give you the speed at mid track to let the tires keep hookin all the way to the finish line..
  11. I buy mine at the goodwill store...Cause I'm a broke ass mother fucker, and will never amount to shit....
  12. CPI's are right the first time!! Not the second or third. Maybe fireman IS doing all he can to make it right with his customers, but part of owning a buisness is making sure the customer is happy the first go around.
  13. You sure your not runnin a 152main? never heard of a 251...didnt even know they made odd numbered jets
  14. you will need an 8x8 rim. 2-3psi should be enough! These tire will come out way harder on clay than a paddle tire.. Speed = traction..the faster your going when you get to the dry hard surface the harder it will be to lose traction.
  15. CPI or Shearer
  16. If you run wedges you gonna have to get a 8" wheel. 4snow offers an 8"rim and a 9" I have a set of pro wedge II, they hook like crazy on moist dirt. From the sounds of your track the pro wedges or 4 snows are your best options.
  17. Perhaps you have an air leak.. Base gasket or intake would be my guess.
  18. If you look closely in the upper left hand corner of this post you will see that my name is 23champ... My brothers bike is NOT my bike by the way. I dont really want to talk about the "practice day" cause I didn't even have my bike there, I really dont know what happened.
  19. Nice try pal, I aint said shit about that damn rapturd frame!
  20. first of all I think there is a diff. between comin up to me and sayin "hey mman, maybe you guys should look into an overide". And then sayin" man them guys are idiots..If they want to drag they need to do this, and that." Your bike does run good for what it is..but I dont think it was givin me too many "FITS". It did however surprise me how well it ran. Good job on that one. Did I say GT built the frame? dont think so. And yes, I must admit it is a jealosy issue..I think you guys are SO fuckin cool, I just cant stand it. I want to be just like you. Can I come sleep over sometime?
  21. I know enough about that bike to know it aint gonna stay with a 95hp banshee, and you must know it to, otherwise you wouldn't have sold it. By they way nice job on the frame on that bike..the godamn frame busted in half when he pulled the motor out...You tryin to kill somebody?
  22. Act like everything is cool at the dunes? I thought everything was cool at the dunes till I found out your brother was talking shit on us IN OUR CAMP SITE!! " Them guys are stupid..If they wanna drag race why dont they put overrides on?".... Well gues what loco..Its MY bike, Ill put the fuckin override on when I Damn well feel like it...You like override so damn much, override your bike. By the way Stephen, nobody ever said anything about you..We all thought you were pretty cool.. Oh, and jealousy? What do I have to be jealous of? Wasnt too many HQers beatin me if I remember right....with no overide
  23. We gonna race ??
  24. Talk to an engine builder, he can fill you in on everything you need to know. Depending on what style of ridding your doing also helps choose the right size carbs. If your more into trails, you would want to go with like a 33mm, for ant type of racing I would say 34's or bigger.
