When i set my banshee up for harescrambles, i had input from andy lagzdins, a pro rider on the gncc when i was ordering my carbon fiber Hiper Techs. So i went with ITP GNCC series 22x7-10 on the front and ITP XCR 20x11-9 in the rear. I also dropped the front sprocket 1 tooth. The taller tire gave me alot more clearance in the front and are light enough to hit alot of the jumps on the MX tracks when they incorporate them into harescrambles. I just ran a 3-hour buddy harescramble at Tomahawk, WV on Sunday and had no mechanical issues. 6 laps on a 8 mile course with some very technical sections with nothing but rocks and boulders and 4 miles of motocross. My banshee didnt want to nose dive or anything.

That is cheap as hell, but i dont use the paintball gun i have, EBAY it i bet it will go for more.

This is the biggest addiction ever, do you have a gf? I HAD a hard time deicding between spending time with the woman and riding the banshee, i think i did what every banshee owner would have decided.

Hello everyone, what is the easiest way to flush coolant? I tried draining it at the water pump by taking the hose off, but I didn't get it all out so now i need to do it again. Also, I noticed the hose from the water pump to the radiator is extremely close to my fmf fatty pipe. I have maybe an inch of space. Anyone else have the same problem? Does anyone make stainless steel hoses or anything that wont melt? Thank you for your help!

WOW!! Thank You for the kind words, I guess I will clearly state that my thumb fatigues after an hour or two racing and am trying to better prepare myslef and my quad for 2 hour CC racing. It doesn't phase me to just go riding in the dunes (When i lived in OR) or trail riding. But training for GNCC and hare scrambles is another story.

I will be buying a hinson clutch soon, so what you all are saying is chave alittle off so it doesnt hit? Is this the case for just banshees or do other models have the same issues (YFZ, TRX, etc)?

Hello everyone, quick question. Is there anything else I can do to make my throttle easier to push besides the motion pro throttle kit w/ thors removal and an extended billet throttle lever? After about an hour of riding my thumb still feels like its gonna fall off. Only additional thing i can think of is maybe incorporate thumb exercises into my workouts at the gym. Yeah i can see where this will suck for even the consumer. Now you will either have to pay extra to cover the additional fees for sellers to keep current prices or the number of sellers will decrease which COULD create a monopoly for sellers with unique items. What if store owners simply closed their store and listed everything as a regular listing as a simply user? Or have they screwed the guy who just wants to get rid of some crap also?

When i bought my brand new banshee les i bought the procircuit platinums and didnt like them so i gave them to my brother and bought the fmf fatties and in my opinion they give you better response in the mid range.

My buddy i ride with races the gncc and said the same thing. even though he races a yfz he said there are banshee that race that do well. he wanted me to and i was considering it until i had my crash weekend before last. Tim

Well i was riding near Budd's Creek MD and we started out riding the motocross track which wasnt to fun because it was so muddy. So we decided to ride some trails that were extremely windy and narrow through thick forests. so we were riding for awhile and on one part of the trail there was a gentle right hand corner then a medium size hill well i was running about 3-4 gear and came off the hill and all i remember saying to myself was "oh shit". on the other side of the hill the trail dead ended and was washed out. All i remember is hitting the wash out and waking up on the ground to my buddy asking if i was alright. I guess when my banshee hit the washout....it endoed sending me over the handlbars. I knew i had to go to the hospital when i couldn't move my shoulder, so after 5 series of x-rays, CT scans, and everything else i found out i fractured my sternum (right above my heart) and separated my AC in my right should. So now i have a permanant should injury with a lump on the top of my should where the bone is sticking out. Doctors told me that it will eventually heal but dont expect i will be able to ride again untillate spring to summer. Lessons learned: Even if you think you going out to just a leisurely ride....always wear your chest protectors and all your gear not just a helmet. (2) If you have never rode somewhere before ride the trail slow first before running 3-4 gear. Not much happened to the banshee. I need i new rear grab bar and i bent one of my silencers. Tim

Hey this weekend there is a ride down near Budd's Creek south of Walfdorf, MD. I guess there some land before Budd's Creek that you can ride on for $25 all day. Gates open at 1000am. Anyone going. I most likely will be with my buddy who has a older black silverado with his side windows covered in sponsors. I ride a 2004 banshee LE (All black).
