  1. Hahahaha nope that is a first.
  2. Well here is mine, I raced it once in a D7 Harescramble and bought a 2006 LT-R 450 the next week, but anways here it is. Still kept the bacnhee because it was to much fun.
  3. I am 5'9" and went with a +1 steering stem, the GPR added about another inch, and the low bend tag T2 so mine are about 3" high and i think are perfect. Here is a picture.
  4. I am also interested in the suspension, specifically a rear shock if you have it, can you send me the specifics for the shocks and a price? the pictures didnt load for me, please email me pics to [email protected]
  5. Mine went right on and hooked right up to the throttle cable for my 2-in-1. I love mine.
  6. $4,000 for a YFZ and all those goodies is a great deal....no clue what i would do with 3 quads
  7. Agreed with Meltice, i have made many purchases from other members of this site and i look for everything he mentions.
  8. I have +2 +1 ASR on mine and with a 4-1 offset in the front it is exactly 47" which is perfect. My LT-R i race in harescrambles is 47" also here is a pic of +2
  9. Yeah i have my LSR axle in my stock carrier so it must be a 35mm.....i appreciate the help, i still have other modquad parts i havent put on yet, i saw some of their carriers on ebay. Thank you for the help! Tim
  10. Money is sent, let me know that you received it. I plan on just buying a brand new carrier. I found two i like http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAP...130467&rd=1 http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAP...453155&rd=1 Please let me know which one will work with your swingarm and I am running a LSR axle. Thank you!
  11. Hey thank you for the link. Please PM me your paypal address to send the money for the swingarm. $250 shipped? Does this swingarm have the holes to mount a skid plate? thank you! Tim
  12. How much would you want for the swinger with carrier.....or what kind of carrier does it need so i could buy one? I hate the stock swingarm, my adjustment is loose after everytime i ride. Do you accept paypal?
  13. I would recommend a trinity stage IV 2-in-1 if you did all that work.
  14. Hey Washburn, if your going to buy a new 450 i would hold off and wait to see that new KTM. Looks like ti will be pretty sweet. Ohlins shock stock among other things plus your choice of the 525 or 450. The new DS450 is ugly but also appears to have some advantages. Hey did you receive my PM?
  15. Not to self, dont ride in back of rhino, just use for beer.
  16. Lucky you didnt get hurt, luckily the army didnt get give me to much crap for my accident, but if you were leaving on deployment it could be a different story. I also ride an LTR, still have the shee.
  17. I am not going to even comment on half this other than I own both a 450 and banshee and there is a reason everyone runs a 450, i was against them to until i took the leap and tried one. I am alot faster on a 450. The fitness aspect yes, even though i only workout 5 days a week since i am in the military, it still kicked my butt. Lastly, a 250r is alot different than a banshee and better for woods racing. There was a reason everyone raced the 250r before the 450s and 400s emerged. My neighbor raced a 250r up until the second round this year and placed top 5 every race but now races a KFX 450. He too says the 450s are the way to go. I never said you cant be competitive on a banshee what I am saying is there are better machines out there. Like you said in your last email. This is all "IMO." But until you actually ride with me you may want to slow your roll commenting on my riding abilities. To sum it all up, I have rode a banshee since 1998 and have owned two and just couldnt get comfortable racing it. I can ride it hard all day at the track or in the woods.
  18. I had the same problem. Can you PM me the information to get them revalved. Pretty bad when LTR shocks perform better than my Elkas. They were set way to soft. it feels like the front end wants to roll in the corners.
  19. Wow, i thought i replied to this thread, but guess not. Well i built a XC banshee and raced it one time and went and bought a R450 the next week. Look in my signature for the mods. Some i still havent installed. The biggest problem i had with the banshee in tight woods was that it is unpredictable. On the motocross portion, well lets just say spme times it would point to the sky other times it would nose dive, i relaize it was partly me, but the R450 is much easier to jump and forgiving. In the woods it pissed me off, sometimes the tires would catch and throw me one way or the other, but biggest gripe would be how much more tired i am on the banshee compared to the 450. Honestly, i will never sell my banshee because its fun to ride, but i am way faster on the 450.
  20. I think the biggest key to racing a banshee for two hours straight is your physical conditioning. After setting my banshee up and racing it, I concluded it was time for a 450. It wore me right out. Some recommendations for gncc racing that i've noticed that hasnt been mentioned yet like having a airbox and suspension is good wheels and tires. You will see alot of flats. Beadlocks may be a good idea. I prefer the roll off goggles. That way you dont mistakenly rip all your tear offs from your goggles. Gear would recommend at least boots, goggles, gloves helmet, and chest protector in case you crash. Get used to hauling ass through tight woods and large rock sections on a banshee. to alleviate some fatigue while racing, I filled my camelback with cytomax (spelling?) it is sold at gnc stores. Will help you get through the race. And oh yeah make sure you have a coller full of beer for after....you will need it!
  21. Then how much for just the seat? Thanks
  22. How much would you charge, including shipping for the plastic and seat? Thank you! Tim
  23. Hello can I buy one of each? Do i just sen you a payment through paypal? Does the impeller come with install instruction, if not i will figure it out? Thank you! Tim
  24. Being in shape is key when racing a banshee in a harescramble. after 2 hours of racing i was about to die, but still pushed through. One thing, numerous 4-strokes broke down, but my banshee was still ripping all the way through. Depending on the temps, i would definitately take measures to help the running tempature. Especially if your racing in the tight woods. Also of key note, i wouldnt have been so tired if i had my GPR installed and the Flexx bars i just ordered a few hours ago.
